The 3 years that they were together, he  never told her about his brother. He took her to some old people's house and called them his parents. He told her that he's the only son of his old and poor parents. That was what made her pity him and she helped him and his parents which resulted in them dating but he ended up cheating her and running away. Batool had always warned her to investigate more on the people he called his parent but she always proves Batool wrong. Other friends of theirs also warned her on dating a person of her Age. They believe respect won't find it's place between couples if they are of the same Age even thou some usually tell her that love is not about Age. But after he cheated her, she realised that Age is not just a number. Sometimes it matters alot

So now how is he Abdullah's Brother?

"Madame?" A voice called her which she recognised even from the name he called her

"Boss" She replied turning to look at him.

"I think we should go. There are some houses we need to go to" She nodded and went back inside to get her bag

Maryam stared at the dancing leaves caused by the cold breeze. She inhaled the scent of wet sand that she always love. She had finished doing everything she was supposed to do and knowing that her parents are coming to day,   she cooked enough food for all of them but didn't set the table so her Mother won't understand that she knows they were coming. She won't tell her that she knows they are coming if not she would say it's because she knows they were on their way that was why she cleaned the house and did everything on time.

Ammeiy is something else.

Maryam shook the thoughts out of her brain and picked her phone that was buzzing on the wooden coffee table that served as patio. She leaned the phone on her ear keeping the tumbler that was full with yoghurt which she sipped and munch on some biscuits. Yes you would surely see that 'biscuit'

"Hello sir"

"Hello Mrs  Abdullah everything is now ready and you can come when you are ready"

"Okay Thank you sir"

"The pleasure is mine" The Man replied hanging up. Maryam kept her phone back on the table wondering how money talks in this country. Just imagine. Her Father in-law spoke to  the Man he promised to about her admission and within a blink of an eye, everything is ready and she would start studying at Nile University Abuja. Realisation dawned on her and she picked her phone dialing her Father in-law's Number. She knows she's supposed to personally go and thank him but she'll call him for now. He picked after the second ring

"Assalamu Alaikum" She spoke as reverent as she can.

His elderly voice came from the other end "Waalikumu salam"

" Good Afternoon Baba"

"Afternoon Maryam how are you doing?"

"Alhamdulillah Baba. Actually I called to thank you because now everything about my school is ready. The Man told me to come when I'm ready"

"Masha Allah but the credit goes to your husband"

"Baba the credit also goes to you since you are the sponsor. Thank you so much and Insha Allah am coming one on one to thank you"

He chuckled "Maryam you supposed to thank Allah if not for him I wouldn't have helped you "

"Okay Baba take care "

"Take care also" She waited for him to hang and after he did she smiled feeling that at least now she has two people that she could count on. The people that would support her no matter what. But maybe she shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. How sure is she that they would always support her? Anyways they did now and what would  desist them from doing it again
