Grom Ask Out (young Raine x Eda)

I feel my cheeks heat up you can do this ask out your best friend its not that hard right? I tell myself. Eda is sitting at our lunch table when I walked into the cafeteria of hexside. I take a deep breath and start to walk towards out table till I'm tripped by someone my face lands straight in my soup. I stand

up and wipe off my glasses I look at who tripped me it was Alador Blight "ha watch where your walking four eyes" he says roll my eyes a shadow steps in front of me its Eda. "back off Alador" she says. Alador stands up "or what?" Eda lunged forward and attacked him I stand up and pull her off

him "Eda stop" I say she turns and looks at me her eyes go from anger to kindness "ok Raine" she says and drops Alador. we walk outside to the grugby field "you know I didn't need help" I say she rolls her eyes "yeah sure you don't" she laughs and places her arm on my shoulder my face goes red

"Hey Eda would you want to...." but before I could finish a grugby ball was shoot our direction Eda caught it "sorry Raine, Hey Eda you want to play?" I saw her face light up "go a head I'll wait on the bleachers" I say she smiles "thanks Raine" she says and runs out onto the field I sigh and go sit on the

bleachers. I pull out a book on the bard coven and start to read I feel someone tap me on the shoulder I look up from my book and see Eda "hey you ready to go?" I nod and place the book back in my bag we walk out to the front of the school "Hey Raine you want to come over for dinner" I nod I

follow her back to her house. now's your chance "hey Eda?" she turned to me I gulp "Umm... I was wondering if you would..." I was cut off again by Lilith yelling "Eda!!!!" we looked behind us and see Lilith running after us "yes sis?" Lilith slows down and catches her breath "I just got asked out to

grom!!!" they did a high pitch squeal I covered my ears. after they were done fangirling we kept walking I sigh as we arrive at the house I smile and greet the Clawthorns we sit and eat before heading up to the roof me and Eda sat on the flat part of the roof. now "Eda?" she turns to me her

beautiful orange hair swaying in the night air. I sigh "will you go to...." I was cut off for a third time by a Knock on the roof door. I groan and open it I see Mr. clawthorn "Hey, Eda did you get into a fight at school?" she sighs "yeah..." Mr. Clawthorn sighs "I'm sorry I have to do this but your grounded and

you cant go to grom" Eda looked sad "it was one fight and it was because they were picking on Raine" Mr. Clawthorn shakes his head "sorry sweaty but even if it was to protect Raine you need to learn a lesson" he says and closes the trap door. now theirs no point in asking her she pulled her knees

up to her chest "I really wanted to go to grom, with someone special too" she said crying into her skirt. I scoot closer "Eda there's always next year" I say she shakes her head "I wanted to go with this one person whos joining a coven next year and will be too busy for me" she says. wait she wants to go

with me? "Umm... Eda about that question I was going to ask you" she turned her head "well I was wondering if you would go to grom with me? I know you cant go anymore but I will gladly spend grom night with you" I say she smiles "I would love to spend grom night with you" she says and holds

my hand making me blush like crazy. we sit on the roof starring up at the sky cuddling each other it might not be perfect but its my perfect......
