Sports AU (Hunter x Edric)

(Human Au as well) (i dont know very many football turms so bare with me)

(3rd person)

Edric paces around frantically, this is the final game of the season the one game that could make or break his colloge career, "Ed? you here?" Luz say entering the changing room, Luz was the first female to join their team after Luz joined many others joinned their team but Luz is still by far the best player on the team. "Here" Edric sighs Luz walks in and sighs "worried about tonight?" she asks he nods "i mean this could be my chance to go to the colloge of my dreams but i dont know, what if i mess up? or run into the stands like last pratice?" he asks.

she chuckles, "that was funny thought, sorry, umm you'll do fine plus theirs someone watching you tonight" she says with a smirk, Edric tilts his head "who?" he asks, she rubs the brigde of her nose "wow, you more dence than i was, Hunter, Hunter clawthorn? basically my cousion at this point? he's on the cheer team? me and your sisters know you have a huge crush on him" she says. Edric turns red "h-hes h-here? like now?" Edric says with a goofy smile on his face.

Edric has liked hunter since last year at a chirstmas party but he never got the blonde boy's number, so when school started he was praticing and spoted that boy on the cheer team but has been to shy to say anything, "yeah he said he has something to ask you after the game" Luz say smirking. Luz and Edric finish their coverstaion they both walk out on to the feild.

the crowed cheering, Edric spots his sisters, emria and Amity, sitting on the bleachers with the other cheerleaders, and a few rows down from Mittens sits Hunter, he looks good in his cheer uniform, next to Edric was Luz blowing kisses at Amity, her girlfriend, who was beat red. "Huddle up" their coach says, "our team Captian Willow will be giving you the plays" the coach says and backs away.

"ok team, were going to play just like we praticed, minnus the insadent with the bleachers" she says glaring at Edric, he stands their embarssed "i'll try my best cap" he says she nods "on three" "one, two, three, Hexside!!!" they all yell and run out onto the feild, Edric stands behind Willow ready to catch the ball, "hike" Willow yells and passes the ball under her legs.

Edric catches the ball and sprints to the otherside of the feild, meanwhile hunter watches from the bleachers amazed at how fast he moves, "you got a thing for my brother?" Amity says elbowing hunter in the ribs, he turns his head to the purple haired girl "i dont know what your talking about" he says she scoffs "yeah right, you giving him gogo eyes" she says.

He shrugs, "is he even into guys?" Hunter asks Amity starts laughing "is he into guys, dude, my brother is gay, as gay can get, just ask him" Amity says but before hunter can shoot back a comment the cheer coach walks infront of the group, "ready team? time to give this crowed some team sprit" she says with a bright smile. Amity and hunter along with the rest of the cheer team line up and get into their groups.

Edric falls onto the feild after passing the ball to Luz who threw the ball and just barrly missed the goal, "i was sooo close!" Luz shouts sitting next to edric on the grass, "hey Luz, does hunter like guys?" he ask she scoffs "Edric, you've met the bad but sad boy he more bisexual than me" she says Ed sits up "yeah well, I'm just worried ok? what if he just tells me to stop starring at him because hes not gay or what if he, he laughs at me, or makes me feel redicuals" edric pouts.

Luz groans "both of you are hopeless, I'm going to go talk to amity before the next quarter" she says and walks off, he groans and lays on the ground once again, "umm hi" hunter says walking up behind Edric, He quickly stands up to be at the same level as the blonde boy, "umm hi hunter" Edric says Hunter smiles "i wanted to ask you something" he says Ed nods "sure, what did you want to ask?" but before Hunter could ask his question the coach called Edric over, "can you tell me after the quarter?" Edric asks hunter nods.

the green haired boy runs off leaving hunter standing their, hunter sighs and walks back over to the cheerleading belachers but just as he did soo a stray football came flying at his head knocking him down onto the grass, when hunter opens his eyes again, his mom, Eda, and most of the cheer team surounded him.

"back up, give the boy some space to breath" the cheer coach yells, everyone backed off, "you ok hunter?" she asked, he blinked a few times "umm i think soo"  he says before touching his head, he looked down at his fingers which had blood on them, "i may need a nurse" he says the coach nods and helps him up.

Edric watched the whole thing from the bleachers, he looked where the football came from but didnt see the colpret, the game was on hold due to hunter but also due to the rain forcast with heavy showers, and like on cue it started to pour, the game was flooded, everyone moves to the lockers rooms or to their cars.

Edric changed back into his green sweatshirt and gray sweat pants, putting on his glasses he grabs his bag and walks out into the rain, soaked he waits in emrias car for his sisters, he spots hunter standing outside with an ice pack on his head, I'm already wet edric thought and climmed out of the car, walking over to hunter standing under the oning shivering.

"hey" edric says hunter looks over and smile "hey ed" hunter says the nickname ed coming from hunters mouth made him fill with joy "what'ca doing?" Ed asks hunter shrugs "all the others are inside waiting for the storm to die down but i quite like rain, its soothing" he says starring up at the rain, edric look up as well the football feild lights shining though the rain drops.

"i guess it is soothing" Edric says quietly, "oh umm about earlier, what did you want to ask?" edric question, hunter snaps back into reality, "oh it, it doesnt matter its not that important" Hunter says, Ed sighs "well everythings Important but umm can i ask you something?" Edric asks hunter nods looking in edrics almost gold eyes.

"I umm, i was wondering if you would want to umm go out sometime" he asked Hunters eyes lit up "would i? i would love too i was just too scared to ask" he say Edric smiles "great umm friday sound good?" he asks Hunter noded "perfect" he said.......
