I sit down and see Luz smirking at me, "what?" she

smiles "oh~ nothing~ just the fact you like Matt" I choke a little "what? no no I think you have it wrong Luz" she laughs "will see, oh by the way you and matt are invited to my house for a movie night" I nod we talk until the teach tells us to be quiet.

the other side of the school

Matt is walking down the hall when he runs into Amity, "I'm sorry" he says and picks up his books the purple haired girl brushes it off "no problem, Matt" she says, the room filled with awkward silence. "so I heard your friends with Gus again" she says to break to tension. I nod "yeah..... after the whole my

friends who acted like my friends almost got us killed thing it seemed like a fair trade" I say. after a few minutes of very Awarded conversation we part ways. I make it to class and sigh until the though of Augustus popped into my head, I shake my head stop thing about that dork I focuses on class.

*time passes to after school*

I run into Augustus again and sigh, "hey matt, um Luz invited you and me to a movie night you want to come?" I think for a moment "yeah, sure it beats being stuck at home" I follow him to the owl lady's house we are greeted by a bird worm thing that is slightly terrifying. Amity opens the door and

leads us to the couch, to be honest it felt a little weird for me to be there and I thing Augustus could tell. he places his hand on my shoulder "hey matt, are you ok?" I shrug "I feel out of place here" I say, he smiles "well I'm glad your here" I blush slightly. Luz walks in with some snacks and drinks "ok so

we're going to watch a horror movie" Luz and Amity sit on the floor, me and Gus sit on different ends of the red couch. halfway through the movie I looked at Luz and Amity on the ground hiding under a blanket, I smiled and looked over at Gus and saw his curled in the corner. I sigh and move closer to

him "you good Gus?" he shakes his head "N-no n-not a-at a-all" he said clearly terrified. I place my arm around him "hey its ok I'm here" he nods we continue to watch I feel a weight on my chest I look down and see Gus sleeping there. I smile so cute I fall asleep shortly after. I wake up in the middle of

the night and see everyone still asleep, I pull out my scroll and text my brother to cover for me. I yawn and look down remembering why I couldn't move. Gus wrapped his arms around my waist causing

me to blush, I look over to make sure the others were asleep. once the coast was clear I kissed Gus on the forehead he smiled in his sleep. "good night Gus" I say and fall asleep.....
