The Headache (Gus x Matt)

(3rd Person) Started before the last episode but finished recently (just a cute theory i have/had)

"my head is pounding" Matt whines while sitting at lunch, Gus, Willow, and Hunter were there with him, "should we take you to the nurse? or ask one of the healing track kids?" Gus asks, Matt waves him off "I'm sure its fine, i probally just need sleep" Matt states Gus gives a look to Willow who just shrugs and turns back to her conversation with Hunter.

Matt's headache was not fine, he sat the entirey of class rubbing his temples to get rid of the pain, He raised his hand and asked to head to the healing coven, the teacher let him leave but as soon as matt stepped in the hall he felt really dizzy, the room started to spin so Matt sat on the cold tile.

Gus just so happend to be walking down the hall when he spots his friend Matt, "you ok Matt?" he asks Matt doesnt respond, Gus rushed over sitting next to the constrution kid, "whats wrong Matt?" Gus asks worried, "Headhurts, Dizzy, Titans sake" he says closing his eyes and rubbing his temples, Gus knew Matt needed to get to the healing coven quickly.

"I'm going to pick you up matt ok?" Gus says warring Matt, Matt just nods and lets Gus scoop him up into his arms bridel style, Matt felt nausea like he was going to puke, he could barley squit, the lights in the hallway were to bright and looking at them made his head hurt more so he decide to look at Gus's face if he wasnt feeling like he was about to die he would probally be a blushing mess.

He tucks his head in Gus's neck trying to hide from the lights his head still pounding, Gus pushes the Healing coven's door open and sits Matt on one of the beds sitting next to him, "whats the matter boys?" a older lady asks "Matt has a really bad headache, he said he feels dizzy and couldnt stand from the floor when i found him" Gus says worried.

Matt meanwhile was rubbing his temples and trying to hide in Gus's arms, "hurts a lot, very-" Matt stops mid sentence and ran to the bathroom throwing his guts up, Gus followed him pating his back while he leand over the bowl "do you feel any better?" Gus asks holding his breath, he has a strong stomach for these types of things but still gets a little quesy.

"No" Matt mummbles, The nurse hands Matt a rag he wipes his face and Gus is worried about his friend, once the two boys made it back to the room the lights have been dimmed and it was easier on the eyes for Matt, still not great but better, Matt sits back down next to Gus and subconsciously leans against Gus, Gus doesnt mind though he just wants Matt to feel better.

"does anyone blood relted to you experience migraines or have any form of horns on their head?" the healer asks Matt nods "my mother and my half brother both have horns" Matt says quietly, "hmm ok, have they ever talked to you about you possible growning horns during your teen years? most witches are usually awear of it" the lady says.

Matt shakes his head "never mentioned it, my, my mother is gone and my brother probally forgot to mention something like this" Matt groans squeezing Gus's hand, "will he be ok?" Gus asks the nurse nods "yeah he'll be fine, my best guess is he's grown one or more horns that are trying to break through his skin which can cause migraine like symptoms, we can ease the pain but not completly take it away, it will go away once the horn/horns are fully grown in but that could take a few weeks to a month" she says handing Gus a bottle of pills.

"these pain meds should help the pain at lead for a few hours, he can take one every four to five hours i wish i could help more but theres not much more i can do, i do however suggest a cold pack or even a pressure band against his temples could help the pain suside for awhile, for the time being though" she says walking over to her desk and signing two papers.

"here are both your permission slips to go home early, i'll inform your teachers" she says Gus takes the things and places them in his pocket, Matt stood up abruptly again and ran back to the bathroom puking his guts out again "your a very sweet boy for helping your boyfriend through this" she assumes Gus blushes "were not dating" He says "oh, could have fooled me, well take him home and rest is the best thing" she says before heading back to her desk.

Gus helps Matt back to the bed and tell him that he's going to go grab their bags, once Gus had dropped off the premission slips and grabbed their bags he helped Matt home, once at the small apartment he gave Matt a pill to take and an ice compress for his head, "thanks" Matt mubbles, the room lights are off so Gus can barley see Matt's face but knows that he means it.

"no problem Matt, I'm going to go call your brother and my dad i'll be back" Gus called his dad first informing him he's going to stay at the Tholomule residents until Steve gets home and his dad tells him to call when he gets home if he's not there, Gus agrees then goes to call Steve "Hello?" Steves voice rings "hi Steve" Gus says "Porter, what can i do you for?" Steve asks Gus sighs "Your brother had a really bad headache at school and i ended up helping him to the nurses office, long story short i brough him home and his in his room right now, he took a pain killer that the healer lady gave me but he still feels awful" Gus states.

"oh no, ok i dont get done with work for another hour and a half would you mind staying with him till i get home?" Steve asks i hum "no problem, see you in a bit" Gus says Steve thanks him before hanging up, Gus heads back to Matt's room and walks over to remove the cold compress from the sleeping boy's head.

As he walks away Matt grabs his hand, "Stay, please" Matt says queitly, Gus smiled softly "i'll stay" Gus hums before placing the compress on the side table and climling into the bed beside Matt, he's faces to face with the brunette boy who has a soft exspression on his face as he fiddled with his hands.

"has the pain meds started working?" Gus whispers, Matt nods Gus smiles "thats good, whats wrong Matt?" Gus asks "i'm emmbarsed" he whispers Gus's eyebrows furry "whatever for?" Gus asks, Matt looked up at Gus "i don't like when people see me in this state" he mummbles "what state?" the black haired boy whispers, "in a weak state" Matt whispers back.

Gus frowns and takes Matt's hand suprising the boy "it doesnt make you weak, we all need help from time to time and thats ok, Matt you are once of the strongest people i know and i know everyone needs help sometimes even you, so please don't feel emmbarest" Gus whispers Matt smiles a little "could, could i hug you?" he asks.

Gus smiles "you dont have to ask for hugs from me Matt, but yeah" Gus says queitly Matt wraps his arms around Gus and Gus does the same tucking Matt's head under his chin, the two boys fell asleep like that a few hours go by and Steve finally walks in the door, when he peaks in his brother's room he smiles when he sees his brother cuddled up in his 'friends' arms he loves his brother but he's a dumbass when it comes to gushing about Gus he knows Matt is deathly in love with Gus but the two have to figure it out on their own, on their own time and thats ok with Steve........
