Random Raeda Post (Eda x Raine)

Young Eda and Raine before her curse and before she found the portal door......

(Eda's POV)

"Litlith their an idiot" i say walking inside flopping down on the couch in the family room, "what did Raine do now?" Lilly said reading something that i could care less about, "their just ugh!!! their soo- Ugh!!!" i say trying to get my point across, my sister closes her book before looking at me "complete sentences Eda, please" she states.

i groan and stand up starting to pace the room "today raine came up to me shared their juice with me and asked me to..." i mummble queitly the last part, "asked you what Edalyn?" she asked my faced was already hot "they asked me to grom" i say groan and pulling on my face, Lilly quirked her head to the side "and thats a bad thing? i though you liked them?" Lilly asked standing up.

i sigh pacing back over to the couch, Lilly followed sitting next to me, "thats the problem i do, i like them soooo much like to the point i might exsplode and ugh!" i say hitting the pillow, Lilly still looked confused "I still dont know why your upset about this?" Litlith asked, I drop the pillow "I'm not upset, I just don't know how to feel, their sweet and kind and smart and a bunch of other things and i'm just, me, i break the rules i dont do my class work i'm barley going to graduate and theres absolutely no chance of me endnding up in the emperors coven with you" i state having an existential crisis.

"Eda, none of that is true, well i mean yes you do break the rules and your grades arent perfect but their enough, and theres no way i'm joining the emperors coven without you, but you are right about one thing, you are you, your loud and bold you don't take crap from anyone and i'm like ninety-nine precent sure thats why raine likes you, your their oppisit in the best way possible, theirs no reason for them not to love you" Lilly says.

i smile calming down, "thanks sis" i say before the realization dawned on me "shit i didnt give them an answer!" i shout before shooting up "language!" Lilith yells at me as i rush out the door, i run down the street getting werid looks from other witches but i could care less, i turn the corner to raines house seeing them sitting outside, i slow my pace and walk up to them, "can i join you?" i ask.

their eyes shoot up at me before relaxing "oh eda, um yeah sure" they say scooting over, i sit down on the cold steps "soo-" i start but get cut off "look i'm sorry i sprung that on you but if your here to regect me just go ahead and regect me, so we can go back to being friends" Raine states i stare at them before shaking my head violently.

"No, no, I'm not here to do that, i came here because i was going to say yes, but if thats not what you-" their smile cut me off "that was akward" they state, i laugh "when are we not?" i ask we sit there for a little while not saying a word just staring out at the boiling isles sky as the sun sets.

i feel a hand land on top of mine before i look down, raine's hand placed on top of mine, their eyes still on the sky, i smile flipping my hand around and holding their hand instead, their eyes flip over to me and smile, blushing a little, I'm not one for affection but this, this is nice..........
