Famliy love (Raine, Eda, and Hunter)

Raine and Eda are married and live in the owl house, hunter came to live their after Lilith(the new emperor) though he needed a normal teen experience but hunter is still not adjusted to life at the owl house. (all in hunters pov)

we wave bye to Amity and Luz as they walk through the portal. Luz is like a sister to me so it makes me kind of sad to see her go to the human realm so soon, also I don't like being alone I mean of course I have Raine and Eda but its been hard for me to adjust to this new life, I mean when my uncle

who is now dead it was just mission, after mission I barley got time to sleep which Luz has told me is important. Eda walks over and places her hand on my shoulder I flinch a little I'm not use to people touching me. "she'll be back" Eda says. I nod she walks inside leaving me and Raine alone, "hey

Hunter?" I look over and see them smiling. "yes?" I ask "umm.... I noticed you were learning different types of magic, would you want to learn some bard magic?" I shrug "I mean it would help with my research so I guess" they smile "great" we walk over to the house they run in and grab a few different

instruments. I sit outside and look at the sky I hear the door open I turn around and see Raine holing a flute as well as a harp and a drum of sorts. "start by picking one to learn and once you can learn the basics we can try some spells?" I look at the instruments and pick up the flute. Raine smiles they teach

me to play I start with simple notes then get to harder ones. I enjoy hanging out with Raine like I can trust them, I feel slightly less lonely. after awhile I walk inside and go to work on my glyphs Luz taught me. I still cant get them to work properly they either disintegrate or just stay paper. I sigh Eda enters

the kitchen and makes herself a cup of coffee "what are you working on hunter" I sigh "glyphs I cant get them to work" she sits beside me but not to close to make me uncomfortable after about an hour I try a plant spell, I tap the middle and a flower grows I smile and pull on Eda's sleeve to get her

attention she looks at me as I explain how excised I am, I see tears prick the edge of her eyes, I smile she places her hand on my head and ruffs my hair which I didn't mind to much actually, we talked and I got two glyphs down. I rub my eyes and head for bed "I'm going to go to bed" I say and start to

walk upstairs "goodnight Hunter" Eda says with out thinking I replied "goodnight, mom" and headed upstairs I laid in bed hugging my sprig plushy. I fall asleep im in a dark room and in front of me is my uncle "oh hunter you think you can have a normal family? ha I will always be part of you" he says I wake

up in a cold sweat. I breath heavy and stand up starting to pace around the room, my door opens Eda and king stand in the door way "whats wrong hunter?" I hold back tears "o-oh nothing, did I wake you? I'm sorry" she shook her head "no I was already up, are you sure your ok?" it was at that moment

I lost it I haven't cried in so long tears start to fall down my face, Eda ran over and gave me a hu. I laid into her embrace I'm not use to being comforted or people worrying about me. after I calmed down I told Eda about the dream and about everything else, she smiled "you know your safe here, right? you

have me, king, Raine, Luz, even that blight boy" she said the last name with a smirk on her face, I blushed out of embarrassment. she sat with me in my bed until I fell asleep maybe I do have a home here...
