Luncheon Party

Iris' POV

I honestly thought my friends were only going overboard when they told me how grand Silva's Bohemian themed luncheon party would be but now that I'm officially here, I'd say the word 'extreme' wouldn't even give justice on how extravagant this event is.

"I love the Pierre's so much!" tuwang tuwa na sambit ni Caylee na napapatalon pa sa saya. She and Tiffany squealed in happiness while Ava and Naomi immediately checked themselves as the official photographers started to approach us.

Sa sobrang pagkamangha ko naman ay hindi ko na nagawang magsalita. I just nod my head in agreement as my eyes wander around.

There were teepee archs everywhere, made of wooden branches and white laces. Huge dreamcatchers are perfectly hanged in different places, beautiful dried flower and wheat arrangements are on the tables and the lights are covered with woven bamboo.

It's breathtaking.

"Iris, smile!" pagpuna ni Tiff sa akin nang mapansin niyang nakatayo lang ako habang sila ay pose ng pose. Agad akong ngumiti sa mga camera at pinakita ang custom-made white lace dress ko.

Sa totoo lang, sobrang nagdadalawang isip akong suotin ito dahil masyadong daring sa taste ko. Low cut kasi ito kaya kitang kita ang cleavage ko pero dahil sa napilit na ako ng mga kaibigan ko ay nilakasan ko na lang din ang loob ko. Lahat naman kami ay ganito ang suot, magkakaiba lang ng design at ayos ng buhok.

Since wavy na ang brown hair ko ay nagpalagay na lang ako ng thin feather hair extensions para match talaga sa event. Caylee braided her hair and wore a flower crown. Kinulot naman nila Tiffany at Ava ang kanila while Naomi decided to put her hair up and added a head dress.

"Alam niyo, kung hindi lang talaga tropa ni Kuya 'yang si Silva at kung hindi rin kuya ang tingin ko sa kanya, malamang inakit ko na siya. I would love to have him as my boyfriend. Imagine how the party would be on our wedding?!" Naomi joked around as we walked towards the crowd.

"But you don't need a Pierre to throw yourself a party. Hello? You're just as rich as him," Ava reminded her.

"Nah, he's way on top. Tsaka parang 'di niyo kilala ang parents ko. They'll never be as extra as Silva's parents."

"Ay nako Naomi. Kahit naman maakit mo si Silva, tingin mo magiging kayo? Sa higpit ng Kuya mo sa'yo, feeling ko tatanda ka na talagang dalaga," biro ni Tiffany kaya nagtawanan kaming lahat. Naomi just scowled and crossed her arms.

Invitation-only ang birthday party na ito pero napakarami pa rin palang invited. All the guests are influential people. Kahit saan ka lumingon ay hindi pwedeng hindi mo makikilala ang mga ito. I even saw a Hollywood actor near us. Nate-tempt akong lumapit at magpa-picture but unfortunately, I don't have my phone with me and I'm too shy to ask a photographer for favor.

Medyo private na tao pala ang mga Pierre. It's my first time to attend their party so I wasn't aware how the rules would be. Pagdating namin dito ay nagulat na lang ako nang pinaiwan ang mga cellphones at camera namin. They said we'll get it again when we're about to leave. Gusto ng pamilya ni Silva na aprubado nila ang mga lalabas na litrato para wala na ring maging problema pa.

"We should get our own tent before grabbing something to eat," I suggested when I noticed that almost everyone already have their own. Nakita ko ang ilan sa mga Elites na naririto. Spencer, Chariz, Fritz and Olivia are inside the white raja open tent just a few feet away from us. Kumaway sa kanila si Tiff bago kami naglakad upang maghanap ng amin.
