Wahhhh! Finally! Tapos na!

Grabe super happy ko dahil kahit sobrang bigat nito sa dibdib ay nagawa ko pa ring matapos hanggang dulo. I admit this is one of the most stressful books I have ever written for the past ten years. Nakaka-drain ng emotions at ang tindi lang ng mga pinagdaanan ng tatlong mga bida natin to the point na pati ako ay nahirapan sa sitwasyon nila.

Thank you kasi kahit sobrang kaunti lang ng mga pakilig sa story na ito at panay problema at iyak ang nangyari, still binasa niyo pa rin at na-appreciate niyo ang buong libro.

I love everyone's insight on each chapter. I respect all opinions and comments. Magkakaiba tayong lahat ng intake sa mga nangyayari dahil magkakaiba tayo ng pananaw sa buhay. I want you to know it's okay if you ever hated a character on this book. It's okay if you ever felt like you wanted to slap or rip their hearts out because of anger. Normal 'yan. Ayos ang 'yan. That's the goal, for you to feel what you're supposed to feel.

Originally when I was writing WOTE, what I had in mind is a different ending. This book was supposed to be a Damian x Iris endgame. Dash was supposed to be a crappy guy, the kind you'll hate so much. But then when I was finalizing the plot, I changed my mind. I didn't want Dashiell to be a jerk. I liked his character especially his personality. And I was satisfied with the outcome.

Iris can't choose so she chose herself.

This was a very challenging book but I enjoyed it. I hope you enjoyed it as well.

Q/A

How did you come up with Torn in Two's plot?

While I was writing World of the Elites, the thought suddenly popped into my head. Hehe. What would happen if you fall in love with two people who happened to be brothers? It's an interesting conflict.

Was it the character's own doing in your mind that Damian did what he did or you knew someone like Damian who actively pursued someone who's in a relationship? Saan mo nahugot ang pinaggagagawa ni Damian from conflict onwards?

This is purely fiction. Walang pinagkuhanan. Lahat galing lang sa imagination ko.

Paano po kaya napapayag ni Dash ang mama niya na pakasalan niya si Charmaine?

It was mentioned by Dashiell's Mom that she realizes Charmaine is a better person than Iris. It was when she was so angry upon learning that Iris cheated on her son. So let's just assume na binigyan niya ng chance to get to know Char more.

Ano pong nangyari sa papa nila na may sakit?

Ayon may sakit pa rin. 'Yung sakit niya kasi na Parkinson's disease is wala ng lunas 'yon, I mean hindi na mawawala. There are only treatments available.

Ano pong motivation niyo to write the Elite Series?

I have always wanted to write complicated love stories. Mga problemang na nararanasanan ng mga tao sa totoong mundo. It's not easy but I like getting out of my comfort zone. I like challenging myself and I guess doon ko nakukuha 'yung motivation ko, to do better and to write better.

Will there be a part 2 for Iris?

I wasn't planning on it at first but I feel like she deserves another book written for her. There's a chance I might write one for her, in the future, with a different leading man. I have someone in my mind and hopefully, maisulat ko siya soon. For now, ito muna. Single but happy Iris hehe

What will be the next book?

Gone Stupid for Love.

The story will focus on Tiffany.

But I'll continue first my ongoing story, Love Me in Brooklyn.
