Chapter 27 - Okay

I opened my eyes slowly and got up immediately. I walked straight to the kitchen getting a glass of water because I'm so thirsty. I looked at the clock and it's 8 in the morning.

I walked up to the bedroom to check on Deandra. I opened the door and she was not there. My heart was beating so fast immediately. I opened the bathroom, none. I quickly went down and she's nowhere to be found on the 1st floor.

I walked out from the house and saw her reading a book on the beach. She really picked the spot where I can't see her from the house.

"Deandra." I walked towards her.

"What?"

"You scared the shit out of me." I said as I looked at her and she raised her eyebrows.

"I thought you left!" I ran my hands through my hair frustrated.

"You're being ridiculous! How can I leave this island? Swim?" She's being sassy ans sarcastic again while I'm here almost die from a heart attack.

"I really won't be able to sleep peacefully when I'm with you. I always get anxious and scared."

"Kai, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere, don't worry." She said and I sighed. I closed my eyes for a second to calm down and I could feel Deandra hugging me. I looked down to her and she gave me a peck on my lips.

"Let's go for a swim, what do you say?" She asked and I nodded.

"Let me change." I said and I walked back into the house. I went upstairs and changed into my swimming trunks. I walked outside to Deandra and I froze when I saw her completely naked. She smirked as she gestured me to come to her.

"Skinny dipping?" I asked and she nodded. She held my hand and we both walked to the water. We started swimming for awhile until Deandra started clinging to me.

"What is this? Koala on a water?" I asked and she giggled. She wraped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. I walked out from water holding onto her.

I laid her on the beach towel that she got from earlier. We both laid beside each other without saying anything.

"Are you going back to New York right away?" She asked.

"Do you want me to?" I asked as I turned to her.

"No."

"Do you want me to stay in Paris?" I asked and she nodded.

"Okay."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"3 days?"

"Okay."

"For real?"

"Yes, Deandra."

"I'm going to take a shower." She said as she got up giving me the best view of her body. She walked away leaving me alone. After awhile, I got inside and took a shower in the 1st floor bathroom.

Time to make breakfast.

I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked ten times happier than before. I never thought it's possible to have someone make you happier than you already are.

I walked downstairs to find Kai cooking and it smelled like pancakes. He turned to me as I walked to him.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" He asked as I hugged him from behind. He flipped the pancake and I decided to grab milk from the fridge. I sat on the kitchen table pouring my milk to a glass and taking a sip.

"Deandra, I'm distracted." He said completely honest and I turned to him playing dumb.

"I know the milk is so refreshing." I said as I put down to the table.

"Deandra." He gave me his warning tone.

"You can have it if you want." I said and he raised his eyebrows.

"That's a totally double-meaning sentence."

"Kai, I have no.. idea.. what you're talking about." I smirked teasing him. I started unbuttoning his white shirt giving him a full view of my body.

"Deandra." He warned me again as he turned off the stove. I gestured him to come to me and he walked towards me. I sat on the edge of the table and spreaded my legs making him stand between them.
