"You will let us know if he contacts you, you will cooperate in any operation designed to capture him, is that understood."

The charwoman stood straighter as she stared at the hologram. She would have liked to conduct this meeting in person, but the new acting UN president of earth was adamant that he not need to leave the planet.

She already disliked him.

"That sounds an awful lot like you trying to give me orders." She said, "Which seems rather interesting considering that the GA is not beholden to any one entity."

The man's face was morphing into a redder tone, a color changing power she had noticed only in lighter colored humans. Made it easy to tell he was angry.

"Listen here, the GA and the UN have a common interest in staying friendly to each other. Admiral Vir committed treason and is a danger to us both. You WILL help us to capture him, and if you do he will be extradited back to earth, am I understood."

She ground one of her knuckles into the floor, and then pushed her weight onto her back feet to stand like the humans did, it was a difficult almost acrobatic ability she had acquired over her tenure. At almost six feet tall standing on all fours, she could add more than a foot balancing on her back legs. She had to think through this logically.

Personally she did not trust the man, he was anti alliance and had proven himself to be easy to anger and combative in most situations. He was not someone she wanted to work with. Her intelligence analysts had been attempting to gather information on Hunt since kelly's death, and there was plenty of information that inclined her to dislike him.

Not to mention that there was some small connection between him and one of admiral Vir's attempted assassinations.

Seemed odd that he would lose the popular vote but suddenly become president when Kelly was murdered.

Some called that a conspiracy, but she wasn't willing to rule it out.

What was her play?

The GA was already dangerously on its way to being fractured. Both humans and Celzex were threatening to pull out of the alliance as were the Drev.

If the humans were to pull out all of their economies were likely to crash.

It was her hope that President Hunt was now aware of this.

He may have started his campaign as an isolationist, but at this point he was probably coming to learn that the last two UN presidents had done a good job intertwining their political well being with those of everyone else in the galaxy .

"We will be on the lookout for his ship and any communications he may attempt to make with previous contacts." She said, rather diplomatically, while she intended to keep an eye out for him, it was because she wanted to talk with him face to face herself, and had absolutely no intention of trying to imprison him as her first strategy.

Soemthing didn't seem right, and she would rather have all the facts first.

The man grunted, "Good."

And then he hung up.

She would have said it was rude and been miffed about it, but honestly he was an incorrigible person and she was glad that he hung up. She slumped back onto her front limbs and sighed.

Things were all falling apart.

Not for the rRundi or the Tesraki luckily enough, but the rest of the galaxy was reeling from news of the Makers and leaked information on Celzex capabilities. There were outcries everywhere to demand justice from them, which was completely ridiculous since the Celzex were capable of blowing up their star if they tried hard enough.
