Arimaspi
Mythology: Greek
They are legendary people of northern Scythia who lived in the foothills of the Riphean Mountains, variously identified with the Ural Mountains or the Carpathians. They were described as one-eyed humanoids. In many tales it is said that the Arimaspi tribe were enemies with the griffins.
