"Legolas! Come here!" Thranduil called.
Legolas ran down to the throne room, noting the sort of urgency in his father's voice.
"Yes, Adar?" Legolas replied, slowing to a walk as he entered. And then he stopped.
His three little cousins - Hawkeye, Katniss, and Merida - were standing next to his father. He had them on child leashes, and Merida was frantically trying to get out of hers.
"Legolas, you are babysitting your young cousins today. I have work to do."
With that, Thranduil handed Legolas the leashes and walked out of the room.
Kantiss immediately plopped down on the ground and wouldn't budge, which Legolas was somewhat grateful for. Hawkeye began to scale Legolas and perched himself on Legolas' head, surveying the room. Merida finally reaized that she wouldn't be able to get free and tried to run from he rolder cousin. She began to scream when she couldn't break from Legolas' firm grip.
Legolas sighed. This was going to be a long day.
