Tea and trouble

It's a warm morning in late fall as you and Asra are sitting down drinking tea together on your day off. Faust is also joining you but since she doesn't have arms to drink any tea she just blips her tongue into the brew and always gleams happily when she's able to taste it on her lips.

Sitting in his white robe, Asra looks over at you. "Hey Y/N..can we do this more often?"

You look over at him as well at the question, "Well that depends on whether you want to keep the shop running or not." You tease.

"Of course I do it's just that..well, tea and being with you is just as exciting as working a magic shop." He laughs.

You can't help but smile at the thought and even if you still have a shop to run, doing this often does sound enjoyable.

Just then, there's a series of quick knocks against the door. With a sigh you got to get it and almost practically tumbling into the room as the door opens, Julian lands face first onto the ground. His cloak is ripped to ribbons, his hair is disheveled, and he has a frantic look in his eye.

"Ilya! What in the world happened to you?" You ask him as you stand up.

Julian gets up from his position on the floor. "You guys gotta help me. I was asked to watch the palace while Nadia has gone to Prakra for a day and..there might be animals running around the palace now."

The room goes quiet and both you and Asra stare at each other while Julian catches his breath.

"Well that wasn't a yes or no question! Let's go!" He says frantically, then he pulls both you along in your comfortable clothes and up to the palace.

The door opens..

And you see creatures from peacocks, foxes, and birds flying around.

"Oh. My. Goodness." You say in shock.

"Ilya! What did you do?!" Asra demands as he looks at Julian.

"Well Princess Nasmira came to drop some off at the garden and I told her I could handle it so she left it to me to watch them!"

You realize that's the first part of what went wrong here. Trusting Julian with wild animals.

"Then I started getting bored," Julian continues. "And so I decided well it wouldn't hurt to take a quick nap. So I did! When I came two they had somehow managed to break out!" He explains as a plate flies past you from the kitchen.

"Okay! Okay we can handle this." Asra says. Then he looks at you. "Remember that fox accident last spring?"

You nod.

"Well it's gonna take more then one egg to get them to all settle down and get back into the pen. So here's what I need you to do, use your magic to try and wrangle every animal you see, I'll help you if you need it. Can you do that?"

You nod at him again, the plan seems easy enough.

"And Ilya, you're tall so you help yank the birds down and put them in their cage!"

Asra is already running off when Ilya yells "But birds hate me!!"

Turning around from running for a moment you stare at him. "But you have a bird!"

"I know! He likes me!"

2 hours later..

Once you, Asra, and julian have wrangled all the animals together and Julian locked the gate, everyone plops down onto the couches of the palace.

Asra has also cleaned up every room using magic and tea was poured out again.

Just then..the palace doors open. Nadia comes into the main rooms of the palace and laughs at seeing all of her friends together. But she especially grins at the mess of your clothes and hairstyles..everyone's been disheveled except her.

"My my..it looks like you've had an interesting day!" She laughs, sitting down.

"...can we just pour more tea?" Julian begs.

So tea is poured for everyone and by the end of the day..the animal incident is never mentioned to anyone.
