Who told me it was a good idea to take an 8:00 am class on a Monday? My stupid brain did that's who...

Hearing my alarm go off for the third time I sigh, if I snooze it one more time I will be late, so with all of the mighty strength I have built up in me... I sit up.

I'm aware that's barely anything but you have to give me some time. After a whole 2 1/2 months of sleeping in until 9:30, waking up at 6:45 is a huge difference.

Why do I even bother trying to go on a run before class anyway? I never do, I just go after class.

I make a mental note to change my alarm time to 7:00 instead while I get up. Chugging ice water to fill me up for the morning, walking into my bathroom to have a shower. I put my hair up in a claw and turn on the water, undressing myself, then I make a big mistake...

I looked in the mirror. (TW)

My one rule is to never look in the mirror when I'm undressed or in tight clothing, it is what has stopped me from relapsing this past year, but I did, I looked in the mirror.

See, my friends and family always try and convince me that I'm perfect the way that I am, but their obliged to. Ever since mid sophomore year, I have looked at myself the way every person at high school told me I did; ugly, fat and worthless. When I ended up in hospital at 90 pounds, I still thought I was overweight because each time I looked in the mirror I didn't see myself at 90 pounds skinny, I looked 90 pounds fat. I could see the imaginary rolls on my stomach that used to exist, the wide ribcage, the double chin, everything that was 'wrong' with me.

The second I looked at myself I saw all of this things again and I gasped, I have clearly gained a few pounds since summer started, the slight bump on my lower stomach made me look pregnant, my thighs have clearly thickened, looking like fat lumps.
