A/n: A short Mondstadt POV to show what transpired there after Y/n left. ( ◜‿◝ )

[Mondstadt POV]

The wind seemed to blow softer everyday. That either implied it was calm, or it was losing life.

The alchemist found himself standing idly in the middle of Favonius Headquarters. Then again, this wasn't something he'd crown as unnecessary. In fact, his presence was much needed.

The designated people arrived at the Acting Grandmaster's office, and the discussion commenced.

"If I was aware of the situation, I'd have ordered for a closer inspection on them." Master Jean spoke as she stacked her files and kept them on the side.

The case about Y/n had finally been brought to her. It was mainly due to the growing concentration of the Fatui around Mondstadt. There was a concern that Y/n was involved with their schemes.

"You already had enough things to take care of. Besides, Y/n was not a suspicious person." Lisa was acting more hesitant than usual, mostly because the witness she had called for had not arrived yet.

The door opened, following the entry of the witness in question.

"Please accept my humble greeting." She gave Master Jean a nod. "I'm Mona Megistus, the Great Astrologist. I have realised that the disappearance of my housemate concerns you quite a bit." She continued. "But I can confirm that Y/n was not affiliated with the Fatui during their stay in Mondstadt."

"Hm." Jean began to think to herself. "But as is reported, they were still captured by them. Since they were previously alleged with the Fatui, we don't know how this situation may unfold."

"That is the difficult part." Albedo spoke. "Nobody actually saw them get captured. The last anyone saw of Y/n was them fleeing the city."

Mona nodded. "I do hope they were able to escape."

"Yes," Lisa finally had something to add. "And the reason they didn't come back could be because they didn't see Mondstadt as a safe place anymore."

Albedo sighed. Of course, Lisa would still try to defend Y/n.

If Albedo didn't know better, he too would've thought Y/n was involved in their schemes, so Master Jean's concerns were valid.

Especially with what happened last time the harbinger was around, the Knights of Favonius had to keep their guard up.

"I'll send an investigation team to search for Y/n, in case they're currently in hiding." Albedo said eventually. "However, if we find no trace, one won't know what to infer from it."

Mona and Lisa looked at each other with concern. Both of them wished for Y/n's safety. Honestly, Albedo did too.

"I don't think there's any reason to deny that approach." Master Jean nodded. "You may send your forces."
