Melody To The Rescue Again

We received a tip the other night that Melody defended Kelsey against some girls who were badmouthing her.

According to our source, the two were in front of Dorm A when two other girls started talking about Kelsey and saying not so good things about her. The two girls questioned why Kelsey made it to the Top 5 of Concordia Royalty. They also pointed at how she frequently messes things up recently.

This is not the first time Melody defended a friend. But when people make rumors and belittle her, she always remains silent.

Nanunood ako sa laptop habang nakahiga sa kama nang bigla na lang itinapat sa akin ni Ingrid ang phone niya at nakabukas na 'yon sa Concordia Buzz. At nang matapos akong magbasa ay hinila na niya ulit ang phone niya mula sa akin. Nakatayo siya sa tapat ng kama ko at nakahalukipkip habang nakatingin sa akin.

Knowing her, I know that look means she's displeased about something. And I know for sure that it's not because someone badmouthed Kelsey. Or the fact that there's another article written about me in Concordia Buzz.

"Nakasubscribe ka ba sa blog nila at updated ka?" biro ko at tumawa.

"You defended Kelsey," she said in a serious tone. Madalas man seryoso ang tono niya, mas seryoso pa 'to ngayon.

At hindi siya nagtatanong. Sinasabi niya.

Ayon ang bagay na hindi niya nagustuhan.

I closed my laptop and sat. I have a feeling that this conversation won't end well.

"I was there. Naririnig ko ang mga sinasabi nila. Tingin ko hindi 'yon tama. Kaya nagsalita na ako."

"Kapag may sinasabing hindi maganda sa 'yo ang ibang tao, tingin mo ba tama 'yon?"

"Hindi."

"And yet you never defended yourself. So why did you defend her?"

"Kung nakita mo rin siya that time, maaawa ka rin sa kanya. Halatang may problema siya these past few days tapos gano'n pa ang mga maririnig niya. It doesn't sit right with me."
