Melody's Point of View

"Are you okay?" concerned na tanong ni Aiden sa amin.

"Yeah. Just annoyed," sagot ko sa kaniya.

Inilipat naman niya ang atensyon kay Ingrid at inulit ang tanong niya kanina. "Are you okay?"

And Ingrid shrugged as an answer. She's obviously pissed, Aiden is lucky Ingrid still gave her an answer.

"Anong ginawa ng siraulong 'yon? Inaaway ba kayo? Kailangan niyo ba ng resbak? Nandito lang kami. Sabihin niyo lang," game na game naman na offer ni Leo.

As much as bwisit ako kay Dex ngayon, hindi ko naman gusto na mapaaway siya.

Isa pa bakit idadamay ko pa ang Saving Daylights dito? Who knows, baka kinabukasan kapag nahimasmasan na ako maging okay na ulit si Dex sa paningin ko.

Kaya lang ngayon hindi talaga. I can't believe he said that to Ingrid. I'm so disappointed. Grabe. Sa kaniya pa talaga nanggaling 'yon?

Umiinit na naman ang ulo ko. Ano ba 'yan?!

"Let's grab ice cream," Jarvis said while tapping my back softly. "Come on. My treat."

Well... sinong aayaw sa libre? Besides, ice cream is good to fix our bad mood.

That's why we are here right now at an ice cream shop near the dorm.

Jarvis bought us any ice cream we like. At syempre, Leo being Leo, nagpalibre rin siya. Ang off din naman kung si Aiden lang ang hindi ililibre ni Jarvis kaya pati siya ay binili na rin niya.

"You love chocolate?" tanong ni Aiden kay Ingrid.

Ingrid nodded at him. "I love every kind of food." That's true. Good thing about her, hindi siya maselan pagdating sa pagkain lalo na kapag libre.

I stopped eating when I felt my phone vibrate. I checked it to see a message from Venice.

Girl, is it true? What happened?

Huh?

Ang alin? I replied.

Wala pang isang minuto ay nagreply na siya.

May confrontation daw na naganap sa inyo ni Dex. Wait... you haven't checked Concordia Buzz yet? They posted it there and other students have been talking about it on Twitter.

Huh?! Kaagad?! Wala pang isang oras!

Nagpunta naman agad ako sa page ng Concordia Buzz para makita ang sinasabi ni Ingrid. At bumungad sa akin ang article tungkol sa nangyari kanina. Headline na naman pala. Ugh!

'Melody was caught arguing with Dex. Is Melody just being an overprotective best friend?'

Around 7pm, some students caught Melody, Ingrid and Dex at the park. According to those who were present at the scene, it seems like Melody and Dex are arguing about something while Ingrid was just quiet the whole time.

It was an unusual scene. Usually, it is Ingrid who's standing up for her best friend, not the other way around. No one was near enough to the three to know what their conversation was about. But some speculated that Melody is just being an overprotective best friend.
