There was some yelling and commotion, and I had no idea what was going on the entire time, all I knew was that the vice principal was mad, and so was Daichi. The vice principal ended up leaving, and then Daichi got mad at Hinata and Tobio for what they did. I was trying to avoid that entire situation, but all I know is that it ended with Hinata and Tobio being kicked out of the gym for whatever reason.

All of us just went on with practice, and I actually got to know my upperclassmen better. Tanaka was really outgoing and loud, and he was a wing spiker. Daichi was extremely scary when he got mad at you, and he was also a wing spiker. Sugawara was the official setter, and he had a great bond with the rest of the team. I also met Ennoshita, Kinoshita, and Narita, and all of them were super nice to me. The three of them seemed to be my kind of people, they normally stuck around the back, not drawing too much attention to themselves, which I could easily respect since I don't like getting too much attention either.

Sometime later during practice, we were on a water break when Tobio and Hinata knocked on the door to the gym, Daichi, Sugawara, and Tanaka were the few who answered the door, while I stayed further back so that I wouldn't be seen, but could hear what was going on.

"We challenge you to a game! If we win then you have to let us both back into the gym to practice and let us on the team."

"And if we win?" Daichi asked.

"You get to choose what you get if you win." Hinata said.

"Fine then, if we win the Kageyama here doesn't get to be the team's official setter for as long as I'm the team captain." Daichi stated, very serious about his decision. My eyes widened, I was shocked that they wouldn't want Tobio as their official setter.

"Why doesn't Hinata get a punishment as well? And who's gonna be the official setter if I'm not? I guess you have Sugawara but still!" Tobio practically shouted.

"Geez, you just managed to insult both me and your own brother in the same sentence. Don't you think you should be, well I don't know, a little bit nicer when talking about your brother?" Sugawara sighed. "Maybe we shouldn't let him back in, Daichi."

I quickly walked up behind them. "P-please don't kick Tobio off of the team. If you need to kick anyone off then I-I'll go, I can be off the team in his place, or I can even take the punishment for him. J-just please don't kick him off..."

"I'm surprised that you would do that for your brother, especially not after how rude he was just now! And there's no way that we would let you take Kageyama's punishment, you didn't do anything and he should man up and take the punishment himself if he's willing to challenge us!" Tanaka practically yelled at me, making me back off immediately. I could never deal with loud noises very well, especially not people raising their voices at me, it just makes me feel so scared that I can't do anything.

"Fine then! You have a deal, I'll prove that I'm the best setter here and that I deserve to be on the team!" Tobio got louder and louder while saying that, while I just got more and more nervous.

"Y-yeah! Kageyama and I are gonna win and you're gonna let us back onto th-the team!" Hinata stuttered.

"Alright then, we'll do a 4 vs 4 match." Daichi stated. "It'll be Kageyama, Hinata, Tanaka and Ennoshita. And then the other team will be me, Y/N, and then the other two first years who sent in applications for the team."

"Wait! I never agreed to this!" Tanaka shouted.

"You did say earlier that you liked the two of them, plus I'm sure Ennoshita doesn't mind. Right, Ennoshita?" Daichi turned towards Ennoshita.

"Yeah sure I'll play on their team or whatever." Ennoshita responded.

"Alright then, it's settled, when are we gonna have this match?" Hinata asked.

"Let's do it in a week, right after school in this gym. I'll speak with the other two first years and make sure that everything is organized, but until then you two aren't allowed to come to practice." Daichi said, and then he closed the door in their faces once more.

Sugawara looked over to me, and I must have looked visibly anxious because he immediately checked up on me. "A-are you okay Y/N? You're really really pale, are you feeling alright? You aren't sick are you? Maybe you should sit down for a little while."

Daichi came to check on me as well. "Yeah, you really don't seem well right now, did something happen?"

"I-I- I'm d-dead once I-I g-get h-home..." I mumbled as quietly as I could, but I think that Sugawara heard me.

I saw Sugawara's eyes widen, and then Daichi asked me a question. "What was that? I couldn't hear you, you really need to speak up sometimes, Y/N." Daichi laughed.

"Here, I'll take care of Y/N for the rest of practice, you guys just continue on, we're almost finished practicing anyways, so I'll just make sure that he's okay." Sugawara gently grabbed my arm and took me off to the side of the gym to sit down on the benches.

Once we sat down I felt my breathing quicken, and I could feel myself start to shake again. I felt Sugawara grab ahold of my hand, and he turned my face to make me look at him. "Hey, it's alright, I'm here. You don't need to tell me anything, just calm down, you're safe here." He opened his arms and I leaned over onto him, Sugawara was comforting me and it worked better than I expected it to.

He wrapped his arms around me and I just stayed there for a minute or two, before I finally pulled away. "Th-thank you, Sugawara. I think I'll be alright now..." I mumbled, he looked at me with what seemed to be pity in his eyes.

"Alright, if you ever need anything, I'll be here. And if you want to tell anyone about what's going on, then you can talk to me about that as well." I nodded slightly then saw everyone going to gather there stuff, practice seemed to be ending. "Okay, that's practice for today, make sure to be here tomorrow morning early for practice. Oh, and don't worry about what Daichi said to Kageyama, I'm sure that even if he does lose Daichi won't hold true to that statement, as long as he thinks that Kageyama learns his lesson. And, I have a feeling that Kageyama and Hinata won't lose, but with you on the other team their chances of winner became quite a bit lower. I'm excited to see you play next week. See you tomorrow morning, Y/N." Sugawara smiled at me and waved, as I went to the club room to change back into my usual clothes and gather up the rest of my things.

After that, I walked home, all by myself. I didn't expect Kageyama to wait for me, and I was right in thinking that. I walked all the way home and when I got there I received angry glares from both Tobio and my parents. Neither of them said anything though, which was honestly surprising. I thought that I would get scolded and yelled at like there was no tomorrow, and I didn't, but they all could have easily just been waiting for until later to scold me.
