Frank's POV
When the ceremony was over I had a meeting with Reyna. I entered the room, and everything was pitch black. "Reyna?" I asked. "Over here." She said quietly. I stumbled towards her voice. "Why did you summon me?"
"Praetor matters that need to be discussed." I stubbed my toe on a table. "Ow!"
"Watch your step."
"Can I turn the light on?"
"Oh we wouldn't want any distractions..." Suddenly the voice wasn't hers. Something tingled in my arm. The light flashed on and I saw a cyclops. I glanced down at my arm, there was a knife sticking through it. "Ah!" I squeaked. The cyclops hit me over the head but I was still half conscious. I fell to the floor. I felt him binding my hands and feet. He put a gag in my mouth and said, "I have it. Do we leave him?"
"No." A new raspy female voice said. "We can use him as bait. Besides, he could be.... helpful." I was lifted up onto the cyclops' shoulder. My vision started failing. No! Don't lose conciseness now! I yelled at myself in my head. "Did you leave the note for the girl?" The female asked.
"It's taken care of. I told her to come alone, panda boy needs help." He laughed, and my vision went black.
