Review note

The cover, synopsis, title, and plot of the story were good. Although the plot wasn’t unique, the way it unfolds in the story is commendable.

There were frequent errors- grammatical, punctuation, omissions, and extra/unnecessary words, throughout the story. Some of these errors were hindering the flow of reading as I had to stop and re-read to understand what was happening in the story. Additionally, I also found some inconsistencies in the story. For instance, In the chapter 'It's Payback Time Baby' Micky says that she kissed Deepak two days after the incident but in the chapter 'All things that could go wrong' it is mentioned that the kiss incident happened after 3 months. Also, In the chapter 'Tit for Tat' Micky’s POV was mixed with Nicky’s POV. Neither the end of Micky’s POV nor the beginning of Nicky’s POV was mentioned there. And when you’ll read it further, without ending Micky’s POV, you’ve mentioned Micky’s POV again in the story.

Moreover, in my view, a lot of sentences were unclear. For instance, quoting from the last chapter-

" "That's enough," I said and left.

After 2 hours inside Nikhil's cabin.

"May I come in sir?" I asked permission. "

This should be restructured- After 2 hours inside Nikhil's cabin.

Apart from that, the translation for dialogues and/or words in Hindi was missing in some places. I would suggest either don’t provide translation at all or do that for all.

Lastly, although the story is written in 1st person’s pov, it feels like a 3rd person pov. Like when Micky's pov is going on, Micky’s dialogues should be addressed as ‘I’ and not ‘Micky said.’ I would suggest reading the book Kalayla by Jeannie Nicholas. It is an excellent book written in 1st person’s pov and might help you. If you like, I can send you the link for my review of the same.

Before concluding, I would like to take one more precious minute of yours. This is my fourth review with you. It has been a pleasure reading your books. All the things I’ve stated in my review are my honest opinions and I do not mean to sound disrespectful or hurt you in any way.

Cheers to @daydreamingatnight19 for penning down the beautiful story. All the very best for your future. It would be a pleasure to read your books in paperback. I would be grateful to be of any service.
