⚠️ Trigger warning//description of a panic attack ⚠️

⚠️Well be when the panic attack starts, and 🟢 when it ends :)

The weekend blew through rather quickly, and before they knew it, they were back at work with basically unscathed. Save for the few they received from getting kicked, punched, thrown into walls, etc., they’re pretty much fine (damned Shulk and Piglin Genes, having super strength). Although those at the Hero Agency don’t seem to think they’re as fine as they claim to be.

Clementine had looked very worried the moment she saw Tommy and Alexa walk in, Tommy had a black eye (which was made slightly worse no thanks to the goggle-like glasses he has), and Alexa had a nasty bruises on her arms that looked to have small cuts in the center of them. She told them both to try going to the med-bay area of the building to get checked up on, but they had insisted that they were fine and wouldn’t need to go. She didn’t seem to believe them at all.

A few hours into their shifts, people had been sparing them worried glances, Tommy more so than Alexa since her work is down in the labs. It made Tommy a little uncomfortable, maybe just a bit panicked on the inside. But he told them off, saying that he hadn’t been paying attention to where he was running this morning. ‘I kinda just ran face first into a pole and kissed it with how I was zoned out’ he’d said, joking a little bit as he handed everyone their coffee. They all gave him worried smiles, seeming to accept his little fib, some more skeptical than others.

There was even a time where, when he went to give Blade his coffee, a slight hint of concern flashed in his eyes. But as soon as it was there it was gone, and he went back to being as stoic as he usually was. But even with the sliver of concern from one of the coldest Heroes in the business, Tommy didn’t stop to go to the med-bay to get his eye looked at.

That was, until, a certain Phantom-Merling Hybrid, walked over to his desk and gave, what he assumed to be the same look he made out (at) the window the day of the interview. A look that was cold and terrifying to be on the receiving end of, a look that said the man was not pleased that one of his workers was injured and refusing to go to the medical area of the building to get looked at.

Shit-

Tommy tried his best not to look up as Siren made his way to his desk, he could feel his eyes as they bore holes into the back of his skull like he was using a laser, the olders wings fluffed up slightly. Oh gods did Tommy feel like he was about to get in trouble like a child who's just broken a vase.

Tommy tried so hard not to look up at Siren, even as the Hero in question stopped in front of his desk, crossed his arms over his chest, and looked like a father getting onto his kid, or an older brother that was left in charge while the adults weren’t home. It was honestly terrifying, not that he wasn’t used to getting those looks from Mark, the guardians at the orphanage, the scientist from-

There was the sudden sound of someone's throat being cleared, a noise to which Tommy flinched at slightly, made a face that said he knew what was coming next, and looked up. Now, to say that he wasn’t surprised to see that the angered and possibly annoyed expression he expected to see on the Heroes face was completely replaced by a concerned, worried expression with a hidden softness staring back at him; that would be a lie. He’d really been expecting that cold look of disappointment on the olders face; he was very thrown off, causing him to blink multiple times before Siren spoke.

“What happened?”

“Oh, I uh- I ran into-”

“No, I know what you’ve told everyone else. But I want to know what really happened, Thomas.”
