It was a nice feeling. To feel the wind rush past him, the air blasting in his face.

Gods, it was a truly freeing feeling.

Flying. Gods it was lovely to fly. There were no words enough to describe that feeling.

It was, in every sense of the saying, truly, breathtaking.

Bright blue eyes, nearly the color of the sky, opened to look around him, taking in his environment.

The sky was painted in amazing hues of oranges, pinks, reds and golds; the clouds beautifully reflecting the colors and making the sky seem to glow with an amazing shine.

He looked down, and he saw the ocean. Beautiful blue water was below him, reflecting the colors of the sky and giving the surface of the water a glassy finish, reflecting both sky, setting sun and cloud alike.

In the reflection of the water, the owner of the bright blue eyes caught a glimpse of his own reflection. He saw his eyes and how they were nearly identical to the ocean's own blue, saw the messy mop of golden locks on his head, saw his gorgeous golden wings.

His.. golden wings..?

The person seemed to recognize himself, but the appendages on his back seemed foreign to him, like they weren't supposed to be there. As if they weren't supposed to exist.

It was slow at first, barely noticeable. But soon the dreamer realized that he was starting to fly upwards.
