As stars over the city start to fade
Don't let it all get dark by the day

You can't take back the
choices that you make

Don't carry that weight

Minho sighed softly as he pressed
'play' on his phone and leaned
his head back against the cool
glass of the window.

The train passed goldish
fields and green meadows,
little forests and small villages
while Paradise by Coldplay
played but the ravenette's gaze
was fixed on the horizon.

On the clouds passing above what
seemed to be the end of the world,
the part where earth and sky touched.

He was glad that they finally left
the crowded city, ever since then
he felt like couldn't breathe anymore
between all those skyscrapers in
the mass of people.

The mass of anonymous people
passing by, ignoring each other
in this grey suffocating bubble.

Minho had never felt more lonely.

And now he'd go back to Gimpo,
his home.

He'd take over his grandpa's bakery,
the place where he basically grew
up and start a new life there.

The ravenette had been a very
successful baker with a quite
famous bakery in Seoul thanks
to his beloved grandfather who
had taught him all the little tricks
how to make perfect pastries when
he had been just a little boy.

Minho had years of experience
even at the age of 21 years and
just knew how to bake something
everyone would like, young or old.

But ever since that day he couldn't
stay in the city any longer.

And deep in his heart he was
glad that today was his last time
in Seoul for a long time probably,
his new life was waiting in Gimpo
with the beautiful little bakery.

Although he was sad that his grandpa
couldn't be there to see the opening,
he was proud that his grandpa had
left this behind for him.

It had been the old man's
everything so he knew what
great honor it was to inherit.

At the right time, the bakery
was like an umbrella to Minho
on a seemingly endless rainy night.

The break-up had been rough on him,
it was hard to part ways after sharing
a past of five years together.

He had thought they'd last forever,
they met in Highschool and even
stayed together over the difficult
time of puberty and graduation.

But was there ever a guarantee
for forever?

Was there a law that promises
are meant to be kept?

Can two people really belong
together for eternity?

Minho would have nodded with
a big smile around two years ago,
blinded by love and manipulated
by those butterflies in his tummy
but now after he had taken
his rose-colored glasses off,
the truth felt cold and tasted rancid.

It was hard to understand how
something that makes you feel
the best you ever could,
can also destroy you completely.

He had thought he couldn't be
happier and he had been right.

After you reach the mountain peak,
the valley will follow.

And Minho fell hard.

Again the ravenette sighed as he
checked the time on his phone,
it felt like they had left Seoul train
station years ago but in reality they
had only been driving for 15 minutes.

And it still felt a bit strange
seeing his new wallpaper,
he had changed it for the first
time in months but he knew it
was better like this.

He had to start letting go.

Just when the ravenette was
about to get his iPad out from
his bag to watch a movie,
a soft knock on the door made
him stop his movements to look
up at the stranger.

"Excuse me?
Is this seat free?"
