"Sungie?"

It was so quiet suddenly.

He had just heard Jisung scream
at someone, then slammed the
door shut but after that he
didn't hear anything.

And it worried him, a lot.

The ravenette carefully rushed
down the stairs but immediately
halted when he noticed the
presence near the door.

"Sungie?"

Jisung was kneeling on the floor,
his arms wrapped around their
daughter's little body as he
hugged her close and tears
were streaming down his face.

Aera had her face snuggled in
her papa's neck and stayed still,
she just let her papa do
whatever he wanted.

She knew that he needed
a big hug right now.

Bbama sat beside them,
his head resting on Jisung's
thigh but he looked helplessly
at Minho once he noticed him.

"Jisungie love!
What happened?"

The younger just shook his head
softly and pressed a soft kiss on
his little girl's head.

Minho knelt down in front of him,
his hands going up to cup his soft
cheeks as he wiped those crystal
tears away.

He hated seeing his boyfriend cry.

It always made him tear up too.

Jisung leaned into the warm
touch and sniffled quietly,
his sad glossy eyes staring at
his boyfriend before he closed
them again as another few tears
rolled down his soft cheeks.

"Are you hurt?
Is something wrong with Aera?"

Again he got no answer.

But their daughter wasn't crying
so this was at least an answer to
his second question.

Another ring of the door
bell made Minho frown,
he had noticed how the
younger had immediately
stiffened.

"Should I open the door?"

"N-no, please don't-"

Jisung whimpered,
his hand holding onto
his boyfriend's sleeve tightly.

The ravenette nodded softly
and pressed a gentle kiss on
the other's head, his thumbs
still caressing those soft
chubby cheeks.

It really worried him,
whoever was outside ringing
the doorbell must have scared
or hurt Jisung in any way,
maybe even both.

"Should I call the police?"

Again the brunette shook his
head and instead snuggled his
face in Minho's shoulder, inhaling
the soothing scent as he tried to
calm his racing heart.

He hadn't thought about
this happening at all.

Not in a million years.

"Papa.."

"Hm?"

Aera wriggled a bit in his hold
so that she could look at him
and reached her little hand out
to wipe a tear from his cheek.

"Papa no cry.."

"Papa's sorry, baby"

Jisung chuckled softly through
his tears and cupped her little face,
pressing a small kiss on her forehead.

"Papa's so sorry,
my little princess."

The tiny girl looked at him
innocently with her huge
sparkling eyes, a cute pout on
her face as she copied her papa,
cupping his cheeks with her
small hands as well.

Minho watched them while
a comfortable warmth spread
through his chest, seeing their
daughter comforting Jisung like
this was so precious.

She really was a little angel.

Bbama whined softly and hopped
on the brunette's lap between
Aera and him and stood on his
hind legs to lick Jisung's chin
making him giggle.

His little tail was wagging so
excitedly, tickling Aera's tummy
like this and Minho couldn't help
but smile as well when he heard
his daughter's adorable giggles.

When his gaze met his
boyfriend's sparkling eyes,
he knew that he was already
feeling better.

"You okay, Sungie?"

And the younger nodded softly,
his fingers playing with the cute
tiny ponytail on top of their little
girl's head while his other hand
was petting their puppy's fluffy fur.

"I'll always be."

Yeah, he'd be.

He got a family who loved him
endlessly and would do anything
for him, after all.
