"Uh sure, sit down please"

Minho tried to smile reassuringly
as he pointed at the free seat
across from him.

He watched the unfamiliar boy
quietly, how he took his big
backpack off with a huff and
placed it down on the other seat,
how he ran his fingers through his a
bit too long hair that was half black,
half blue and how he tried to pull
his sweater down afterwards.

When he looked up at Minho,
the older just smiled at him,
receiving an unsure smile in return.

Jisung wasn't sure why the
other man was smiling at him,
it was confusing.

Did he have something on his face?

Indeed he wasn't that wrong
with that, the ravenette had
noticed the slightly bloodshot
eyes and the dried tear stains
on the younger's chubby cheeks,
also the way Jisung's voice had
sounded so sad and broken hadn't
gone unnoticed by him.

But for now Minho didn't say
anything and just kept watching
how the boy started to rummage
in his backpack for something,
a water bottle apparently.

Because when the younger
pulled the bottle out,
he only sighed sadly noticing
the remaining little bit of water
but drank it eagerly nevertheless.

"Do you want something
more to drink?"

"Ah no no, i-it's okay.
Thank you so much sir!"

Jisung bowed hurriedly but
groaned when he sat up again
making Minho frown as he
subconsciously placed his own
hand on his belly.

But again he didn't comment on it.

The younger sighed with closed
eyes as he rubbed the upper
part of his belly before he
started to rummage again,
probably looking for
something to eat.

Minho tilted his head softly
when the other boy only
pulled a crumpled paper bag out,
an empty one that only left a
few bread crumbs on the floor.

Jisung breathed in shakily as he
closed his eyes in hope to keep the
tears from falling but he failed.

Small crystal tears rolled down
his pale chubby cheeks but he
immediately lifted his hands
up to wipe them away,
he didn't want to cry in
front of the stranger.

He didn't want to look like
a pathetic crybaby.

But this time the ravenette
wouldn't keep quiet.

"Hey."

Minho's heart ached when
the boy looked at him with
those sad doe eyes,
those teary eyes that
looked so broken.

So hopeless.

"Are you okay?"

And he could feel his heart
breaking when the younger
shook his head softly,
a heartbreaking sob escaping
him before he buried his face
in his hands.

The tears were running endlessly,
dropping on the boy's dark blue
sweater and leaving dark spots on
the stretched fabric over his belly.

Jisung wasn't sure when the
last time was that he had cried
so much like this but somehow
he didn't feel embarrassed.

The stranger had asked him if he
was okay and this was the answer.

He wasn't.

He fucking wasn't okay.

Minho reached into his bag and
pulled his clean favorite kitty
tissue out together with the spare
water bottle he always carried
with him before standing up to
kneel in front of the boy.

"Hey sweetie, look at me"

The ravenette smiled gently
as he placed the tissue in Jisung's
hands but instead of using it,
the blue-haired just cried even
harder, overwhelmed by the
sudden kindness.

That someone was actually caring.

Minho chuckled softly before
taking the tissue again and lifted
the boy's face up by his chin to
carefully wipe the tears away.

Like a mother did to her child.

The younger blinked at him
with his big glassy eyes,
his sad stare drowning into
thosewarm caramel orbs.

"Don't cry, mamas shouldn't cry."
