"Shh princess, it's okay.
I know, appa knows"

Minho whispered as he
rocked the little girl in his arms,
her head resting on his shoulder
in pure exhaustion as she cried
so heartbreakingly.

He felt her hot forehead on his
neck and her tears on his skin
since she had nuzzled her face
in the crook of his neck.

"A-appa.."

was the last thing she
mumbled before she, again,
threw up on the towel Minho
had already placed over his
shoulder knowing that this
would happen eventually.

"Oh sweetie, let it all out, hm?
Your tummy won't hurt that
much anymore then."

Of course it wasn't amazing
having your daughter puke on
your shoulder but the ravenette
knew that the only thing that
could comfort her now was
being held by one of
her parents.

She had started feeling bad
this morning, had been fussy
and hadn't wanted to eat anything.

Jisung thought that maybe she
just had slept badly but since
lunch she was constantly crying.

Her forehead was warm and her
head aching, her soft cheekies
were flushed from the fever and
her little tummy was hurting,
Aera just couldn't tell her parents.

She could only cry loudly and
call her appa and papa in hope
that they'd make her feel
better somehow.

And they tried,
they gave their best to
comfort their precious tiny girl.

"Uh.. Minho?"

"Hm?"

The older smiled softly at
the adorable sight of his sleepy
boyfriend, his fluffy brown hair
tousled and his oversized shirt
revealing his milky white
shoulder and collar bones.

"Is she still feeling bad?"

"Yeah, she just puked again.
Poor angel"

Minho smiled sadly as he wiped
her mouth and chin clean but
tiny Aera wasn't having it all
and turned her head away just
to cry even louder making
her papa frown.

"Oh my baby, I'll make you some tea.
That should settle your tummy
and also you need some water
in your system"

Jisung caressed her warm cheek
and kissed her head before walking
over to fill the kettle with fresh water.

The little girl's cries got quieter
when her appa started humm a
soft tune, the big warm hand
stroking her back and the gentle
rocking was slowly calming
her down.

And also she was probably
getting tired, being sick was
very exhausting for
her little body.

"There you go, cutie.
Nice warm tea for an upset
little tummy."

Minho took the bottle from
his boyfriend and held it in
front of Aera's tiny mouth,
just hoping that her exhaustion
would make her forget about
her stomach ache for a moment.

Indeed she just let his Appa feed
her the bottle, her one hand
weekly grabbing after the bottle
just to hold onto Minho's pinky
in the end.

Her eyelashes were sticking
together from her dried tears
so she just closed her eyes as
she drank slowly.

"Poor sweetheart,
let's sleep a bit and you'll
feel all better again tomorrow.
Sleep is the best medicine"

Jisung spoke softly and took
the half empty bottle away from
his boyfriend, their daughter had
finally fallen asleep although
she didn't want to let go of
her appa's pinky.

When the younger entered their
bedroom after cleaning the bottle,
Minho was already laying under
the covers, a peacefully sleeping
Aera on his chest and a new shirt on.

A pile of fresh towels was sitting
on his bedside table, just in case
she got sick again.

"Go back to sleep love,
I'll have an eye on her."

"But you need to sleep too,
the bakery-"

"I'll close for tomorrow and rest when
you can take care of her, okay?
Just sleep, Sungie."

"O-okay.
Good night cutie,
good night Minmin."

The brunette pressed soft pecks
on his daughter's cheek and
his boyfriend's lips before
snuggling under the covers
with a happy sigh,
he was dead tired.

Taking care of a sick one
year old was exhausting.

"Minmin, huh?"

And Minho could only smile,
noticing the adorable blush on
the younger's chubby cheeks.
