Nine months later (no one got pregnant, no worries)
"Everything is ready?"
Minho nodded softly, a pretty smile on his face as he wrapped his arm around the younger's waist.
"I think so, let's go wake up the cute birthday girl~"
"Mhm!"
It was adorable how excited Jisung was, his baby girl was turning one after all.
He squeezed his boyfriend's hand before they opened the door to Aera's room, Jisung's old room, and smiled at their pretty sleeping baby.
She looked so peaceful resting in her crib, her tiny left hand holding onto her kitty plushie and she always pouted so cutely when she was sleeping.
"Aera princess~"
The younger leaned down to press a soft kiss on her forehead while he caressed her chubby cheek carefully.
"Hm.. papa... "
"Hi baby girl, papa's here love."
Minho's heart was jumping in his chest, although the two cute people in front of him were his family for almost a year already, he still couldn't believe how he got so lucky.
He was so unbelievably grateful to the universe that it had decided to give Jisung another chance, a chance to be a great father to Aera and to find his own reason to stay.
Yeah, Minho was more than thankful that the younger was here, right beside him as his cute boyfriend holding the daughter he could call his as well.
Yes, Aera was their daughter.
And she was very okay with that.
"Appa…"
"Hey sweetie, happy birthday"
The ravenette smiled at his sleepy girl and pecked her tiny hand when she reached it out for him.
"Are you excited for your first birthday party? Uncle Binnie is coming over today and uncle Lixie too~"
"And appa made you a very delicious cake"
Jisung added before he pressed another kiss on her cute squishy cheek and gave her her kitty plushie, she wasn't going anywhere without her kitty plushie.
Aera smiled cutely at her appa when Minho booped her nose as they walked toward the kitchen where a cake and a little muffin were waiting for them.
The older lit up the single candle on the small banana muffin and gave his boyfriend a soft smile when Jisung walked closer holding their daughter with one arm on his hip while he pulled Minho closer by his waist.
"You just need to blow out the candle, cutie. Like this."
The now brunette laughed at how Aera observed her appa completely fascinated while Minho showed her how she had to blow her candle out.
And the older also couldn't stay serious when the little girl then stuck her tiny tongue out, practically spraying her drool all over the muffin but at least she was able to make the small flame disappear.
"Happy birthday cutie, papa loves you so so much"
Jisung cooed, nuzzling his nose against her soft cheek and hugging her close making her giggle so cutely.
"Papa.."
"Yes angel, papa loves you~"
"Now come to appa, little birthday princess~"
Aera squealed when Minho took her in his arms and smooched her soft cheekie a few times, her tiny hands going up to cup her appa's cheeks.
"Do I get a kissy too?"
The tiny girl smiled her pretty heart-shaped smile before pressing her lips on the ravenette's cheek with a 'mwah' sound.
"Thank you sweetie, now give papa one too or he'll be sad, hm?"
Jisung nodded as he pouted sadly but Aera, being the perfect adorable daughter she was, immediately leaned over to peck his nose making him smile brightly.
"Thanks cutie~"
And again the little girl just smiled cutely and snuggled closer to her appa's chest, purring happily when her papa walked closer and wrapped his arms around Minho's waist while kissing his daughter's head.
"Our little princess is one already, she's growing up too fast."
"But she'll always be our cute baby girl, right sweets?"
Aera just hummed and nuzzled her face against her appa's chest, she was just as cuddly as her papa.
