Around three years ago

"I'm home!"

Minho called out
as he closed the door to
the apartment behind him,
a small box in his hands and
a beautiful smile on his face.

It was surprisingly quiet,
normally Donghyun would
be sitting in front of their
large TV at this time, either
playing some games or
watching some series since
he didn't work as long as
his boyfriend.

The older was only working
part-time since he was still
studying but Minho knew that
he mostly skipped his classes.

But as long as he was getting
money as well and doing his part
in paying for the apartment and stuff,
he wouldn't say anything.

He loved the older and he'd
support him, no matter what.

And if Donghyun thought that
his study didn't fit him at all,
so be it.

"Donghyun?"

Minho smiled softly when his
sleepy boyfriend looked up from
the couch, the cream-colored
blanket slipping from his shoulders
as he sat up with a soft sigh.

"Oh, did I wake you?"

The older nodded with a pout
on his face but nevertheless
patted the space beside him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

"It's okay baby, come here."

Who was the ravenette
to say no to that?

A happy sigh escaped Minho
as he snuggled close to his lover
under the blanket after placing
the box on the coffee table but
his heart kept jumping in his chest.

He was excited.

"You're home early today,
is there a reason for that?"

Donghyun mumbled and kissed
the top of his boyfriend's head
when the other rested his head
on his shoulder.

"Yeah. There actually is.
I even brought two pieces
of strawberry cheesecake
because I think there's
something to celebrate"

Minho smiled and looked up
at his lover for any reaction.

These clueless eyes staring at him
so curiously, he really had no idea.

"Did you have another celebrity
as a customer today?"

"No."

"Did you finally buy the car
you've wanted all the time?"

"Nope~"

"Did you get another kitten?
Because I don't hear any meows"

The older chuckled cheekily
and kissed Minho's cheek,
he knew about Soonie and
the ravenette's extreme
love for cats.

"No, not this time.
But now that you mentioned it-"

"Don't you dare, Lee Minho."

But the younger just giggled softly
and took his boyfriend's hands in his,
shutting him up like this when
he looked up with a shy smile.

"Donghyun?"

"Yes baby?"

"I uhm.."

The older lifted Minho's head up
by his chin when he looked down,
shying away from his boyfriend's
warm chocolate eyes because damn,
now that he was about to say it,
he felt more than nervous.

"What is it?
You can always tell me anything,
you know that."

"I- I'm not the baby anymore.."

Donghyun looked at him
with his eyebrows furrowed,
the confusion was so obvious
and Minho wasn't sure if it made
him just more self-conscious or
encouraged him to finally tell
him what had kept his heart
jumping the past hours.

"What do you mean?"

"Donghyun, I'm pregnant.
We're having a baby-"

"No."

Now Minho was the one
frowning when his boyfriend
had immediately removed his
hands from his face.

"Wha-"

"No. No, you're not pregnant.
I don't believe you!"

The younger was already close
to tears as he pulled the two
pregnancy tests out of his
hoodie pocket with shaky
hands and showed them
to Donghyun.

Both were positive.

But the older just took them,
he ripped them out of Minho's
hands and threw them
across the room.

"You're not fucking pregnant!!
Stop telling bullshit, Minho!"

Tears were running down
the ravenette's cheeks as he
held his arms securely in front
of his belly, the way Donghyun's
face had gotten so red in pure
anger, the way he was now
screaming and kicking against
the coffee table making the
box of cake fall on the floor,
it made Minho fear for
his baby's life.

"Leave."

"Huh?"

"I said leave!!
Leave my apartment,
disappear from my life,
Kim fucking Donghyun!!

Leave me and my baby alone,
I never want to see you again!!"
