THIRD PERSON'S POV
-10 YEARS AGO-
The youngest heiress was seen lying on the carpeted floor with a doll on her stomach. She was looking at her ceiling while counting the stars that would light up every night and kept her bad dreams away.
"51,52,53,54,55.....Nancy unnie, what comes after 55?" She asked and lifted her head a little bit.
"56 miss Ruby" the girl wearing a butler uniform answered.
She was sitting at the couch near the heiress and never took her eye off of the girl as what the head butler had ordered her to do so.
Young Ruby could only nod and went back on counting the stars.
Once she was done counting, she smiled to herself. She had always adored the starts inside her gigantic room.
She would sometimes wonder what the real stars look like.
The last time she saw them was four years ago, and she can't remember how they shine bright like before.
Young Ruby never understand why she can no longer see them.
She had always love the sky and the stars at night. She would stay outside her balcony and would spend her night outside, counting them.
She can't finish counting them all of course but she was happy.
"There are 70 stars inside my room, unnie" she told the butler and Nancy approved
"Yes there is, miss"
"There's a lot of them outside right?"
Nancy shifted from her seat. The heiress have been mentioning the outside world whenever she talk to her.
Nancy had been very good in avoiding the topic but as the heiress grow older, her curiosity began to grow too and Nancy always finds a way to keep the young girl's mind off of it or else she is in trouble.
She have been the youngest heiress' butler for 4 years.
"The stars you have inside this room is much appeasing for the eyes, miss" she answered
"That's because they're fake. They made them look much beautiful but they're not real. I have never seen a blue star shining like that before"
Nancy didn't know how to answer her so she stood up.
"Miss Ruby, it's time for your bath. Your parents wants you to attend dinner with them"
The girl's eyes lit up and she immediately sat down. She looked at the older girl's face and examined if she was telling the truth or not.
She seems serious.
"Really? I can go outside?" She asked excitedly
"For dinner, miss Ruby"
The heiress smiled widely and got up.
"Okay! I can't wait to see mom and dad" she said with a smile and run towards the bathroom.
Nancy followed her so she could prepare the young girl's bath and she helped her removed the piece of clothes off of her body
Nancy stood by the door and kept an eye on her master as the young girl played with a rubber duckie on the tub.
After taking a bath, Nancy let the girl decided on what she wants to wear for dinner.
Young Ruby chose her white, sleeveless dress that reached the skin above her knee with flower design.
She ordered Nancy to braid her hair which the older girl immediately followed and she helped young Ruby to fix herself.
She was not allowed to use make up because she is still a kid so some baby powder will do.
