FROST (Natasha Romanoff x female reader)

Chapter 7: The fight

Mara ran towards Ant-Man, hitting him straight in the head with a swinging kick. She managed to cut his cheek bone, the sheer force turning the side of his face red. 

He stumbled back, almost falling, but was quick to recover and press a button that made him disappear.

Suddenly, Mara was thrown to the ground. 'This must be the ant thing' she thought. She could hardly spot him and Natasha was quick to help her. 

Luckily, the two of them were too quick and strong for the Ant-Man and were soon able to move on to the next target.

Mara looked around and saw that almost everyone was still in the middle of fighting. King T'Challa and Rhodes were fighting Captain America, so Mara decided to go after Hawkeye. She knew she needed to get close to him since he was a skilled archer.

She started running after him but was soon cut off by a laser in front of her. She rushed back and saw that the two groups were standing opposite one another, separated by a line in the asphalt.

Apparently, Vision was the one shooting the laser beam and soon started a speech. Mara started to think that talking was all the Avengers seemed to be doing. "Captain Rogers, I know you believe what you are doing is right, but for the collective good, you must surrender now." He spoke.

When he finished, everyone just looked at each other. The Falcon seemed to ask the captain what to do, followed by the captain saying "we fight". That was enough for Mara to get into her fighting stance and get ready to fight Hawkeye, who was standing in front of her.

She became very tempted to just grab her knife and slice her way through this fight, but she knew that was unacceptable and didn't want the Avengers after her as well. So, she used her martial arts training instead.

Clint was a decent fighter, getting the rare hit in here and there, but that wasn't nearly enough to beat the infamous Frost. 

She moved around gracefully and landed a hard kick to his stomach with her left leg. Careful not to use her right leg too much as that could be used as a weapon to do serious harm.

This kick did enough damage to his liver to incapacitate him for a brief moment, allowing Mara time to get away from him. 

From the corner of her eye, she saw the captain and the Winter Soldier running towards a quinjet. She knew that they were going to try and flee the scene, so she quickly ran after them.

She ran as fast as she could, ultimately only trailing about five meters behind them, before Vision used a laser beam to cut down an air traffic control tower. She saw it starting to fall down, but kept speeding up in order to try and catch up to the two men in front of her. She was really cursing at her metal leg at this moment.

Suddenly, red energy consumed the tower, which allowed just enough time for the two men to slide underneath it. It started to fall again as Mara made her way underneath as well. 

She nearly made it when a block of concrete fell onto her metal leg, slowing her just enough for the men to run to the plane.

She threw the concrete off of her leg and quickly scrambled up, when she heard Natasha. "You're not going to stop" she told them. "You know I can't" the captain responded, as Mara creeped up behind them again. 

"I'm going to regret this" Natasha said as she shot a Widow bite at Mara. The electricity coursed through her body as she fell down before being hit by a second one, knocking her out completely.
