kei jolted up once more, clawing at the bed sheets in effort to calm himself down.
"kei..?"
tobio's tired voice trailed off as he yawned quietly.
"it's nothing, go back to sleep tobio."
the bed shook lightly as kei's body jolted once more, shaking.
"lay down kei, try to relax."
though tobio was faced the other way, kei nodded. slowly dipping back under the covers, hugging tobio from behind.
"i won't look alright?"
"what do you mean you won't look?"
tobio moved beneath the sheets, covering his eyes with his hands, though he was already facing away.
"if you're scared, crying is alright, it's normal, so if you need to, please cry."
kei's breathe hitched at the words tobio said.
"are you sure?"
"of course."
kei's grip on tobio loosened as he rested his forehead on tobio's shoulder, a few tears beginning to silently run down his cheeks.
"can you just lay here with me?"
"anything for you."
