"are you free this saturday? there's this new cafe that opened and i want to know if you'd go with me."

tobio continued to speak, leaving no chances for kei to truly answer.

"this saturday?"

"mhm."

"can't."

kei answered bluntly, confusing tobio. kei was never busy on the weekends.

"why not? you going out with a girl?"

tobio stopped speaking as he watched kei's face light up with a soft pink color. he had only been kidding.

"wait, actually?"

"we started dating a few weeks ago.."

kei only flushed more, tobio becoming speechless.

"oh, alright. make sure to have fun."

"sorry for not telling you, i, we just didn't want too many people knowing."

"yeah it's fine, i gotta go anyways, there's work i still haven't finished."
