A/N: As you've been asking for it.....

He was walking so close behind her, that he almost ran her over, when she immediately stopped, to ask him:

"What do you think, you're doing? Go and get dressed, we're already getting late!"

He blushed even more, humming hoarsely into her ear:

"As you mention, getting laid...."

Nathalie gasped, then pushed him back.

"What do you think, I am? Some slut, you sweet talk a little and then you can just screw her? Just leave me alone, Gabriel, I don't think, I want to spend the night with you!"

He looked contrite, as he closed the gap between them again and pulled her taut, laying his face onto her shoulder, whispering remorsefully:

"Of course I wouldn't think so low of you, Nathalie. I was just trying to lighten up the mood. Please don't be angry anymore, yeah?"

She sighed and wrapped her arms around his torso.

"Fine, but please don't try to lighten up the mood when we're at the pub! Laurène has a nice sense of humour, but her husband, well, let's just say, I never saw him lift up the corners of his mouth just the tiniest bit. So if you want to join us...."

"I'll just be the normal, boring, emotionless Gabriel Agreste, I get it!", he interjected.

That made his assistant giggle.

"I'm sorry, I really don't want to be like this, but I missed my friend over all those years and for some reason, she loves that grumpy guy, so I try my best, to get along with him. So please....", she begged with puppy eyes, making him melt immediately. Still he took a last attempt:

"Well, why don't we make a deal? I will try to entertain Mr Grumpy Guy and you enjoy the evening with your friend. In exchange, I want to see that other piercing, when we return home!"

Nathalie froze in the spot staring at him angrily, then sighed and said:

"Fine. But if he'll leave early or starts to act up because of something you say, the deal's off!"

"Agreed! I'll be back in a couple of minutes!"

They arrived at the pub only half an hour later and quickly went inside, to see Laurène and her husband Pierre already standing at a small table, either of them having a glass of beer in front of them.

"Nathalie!", Laurène called out, waving her towards them, when she noticed, who had come with her and her mouth fell open.

"Laurène, Pierre, may I introduce you to Gabriel? Gabriel, this is my good old friend, Laurène and her dear husband, Pierre!", the young woman uttered quickly to not let the situation get too awkward.

"Nice to meet you!", the other woman mumbled and shook his hand. While the two men did the same, Laurène pulled Nathalie, who was taller than her down and whispered into her ear:

"He's hot. How did you make him come here with you?"

But the assistant shook her head and replied quietly:

"I'll tell you another time. How's 'his' mood?", she pointed with her head at Pierre.

Laurène shrugged.

"Not that bad. Though it has been better. I still don't understand, why he always wants to come, if he hates it here so much, but well, I appreciate, that he does that for me, so...!"

The evening went on and the time seemed to have stopped for Gabriel, who tried his best to get the other man to talk with him, while the women were babbling wildly, remembering old times, telling long forgotten stories. He suddenly noticed an old music box in the corner and had an idea.

"Hey", he said to Pierre, "wanna find out, if those two are really as good at dancing, as they allege to be?"

The smaller, dark haired man narrowed his brows, then shrugged. He obviously didn't enjoy anything in this world.

Gabriel sighed and made his way through the crowd, as the pub was slowly filling with more people, towards the machine and inserted a coin. Then he read through the songlist and pressed the required numbers.

A moment later the song from an old movie started and as he arrived back at the table, he looked deep into Nathalie's eyes, asking sheepishly:

"Wanna dance?"

"Sure!", she nodded and grabbed the hand he was holding out, to be pulled very taut, as they started to move to the music. It was the song 'Hungry eyes', from the movie 'Dirty Dancing' (the scene, where 'Johnny' and 'Baby' are starting to make out) and of course they were both thinking of that special scene, while they both began to feel very warm.

The married couple watched them with raised brows, Nathalie's old friend saying:

"I guess, you won't like to do that too?"

He took her hand and kissed it softly:

"You know, I hate being in public, but I wouldn't mind, doing that at home, when we're alone and with less clothes!", he replied with a shy smirk.

That was enough for his wife to grab his hand and pull him towards the door, calling out to Nathalie:

"Just enjoy the rest of the night, you two crazy love birds. I'll have my own way of fun with my hubby here!"

And laughing, she pulled Pierre outside and towards their car.

Gabriel stared down at the woman in his arms and looked sad.

"I guess, I didn't make the deal, huh?", he wondered wearily.

But Nathalie just smiled lovingly and hummed:

"Well, Laurène looked as if 'she' was about to get laid, so, you kinda kept the grumpy guy off of my back. Why don't we just finish our drink and go home to see, what the evening might bring?"

Now it was Gabriel who stood there open mouthed and stared at his assistant, who reached for her shot glass and gulped it down.

"I've got an idea. We'll play any kind of game, as soon as we're back at the mansion, and the one who loses will have to take off a piece of clothes, what do you think?"

"I think", he muttered huskily and opened the first button of his shirt to not feel as hot anymore, "you should stop taking tequila shots, dear!"
