"Nathalie! Where are you?" Gabriel yelled as he entered his mansion and couldn't find his assistant anywhere.

"I am right here, Gabriel. No need to be so loud. What's going on? Why are you so agitated?"

He gave her a contemptuous look as she approached him from the staircase before he coldly replied,

"How much time has passed, since Adrien started his new school in London? Was it one or already two years ago? Come on, Nathalie, answer me! I didn't save your life and sacrifice Émilie for you to keep me waiting! Just tell me!"

Nathalie Sancoeur sighed. Since he had gotten a hold of his son's girlfriend and guardian back then, and therefore of the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous, which he had unified and used to heal himself and her, he was even more difficult than he had been before. He always seemed to be angry, even if Adrien was home over his breaks.

"Two years, Sir. May I ask, why it's getting you all worked up?"

Growling he pulled out his phone and handed it to her, the screen showing a picture that made her gasp.

"Wow!" she hissed. "Is this... do you think it's..."

Gabriel snorted snidely through his nose, then ordered,

"I want you to invite them both here to meet me. ASAP!"

"Y-Yes, Sir. I will call her right away!"

He shook his head.

"No calls! Get there and order her to come!"

Nathalie was the one who scoffed now.

"Not everybody takes orders from you, Gabriel! I will make that call and invite her friendly in hope that she will accept and come here. You should try to pull yourself together before she will or..."

"Or what? Marinette Dupain-Cheng should be honoured if someone like me invites her to his home!"

Shaking her head in disbelief, his assistant replied mockingly,

"If your assumption is correct about this..." she pointed at the phone, "then you were the one who put her into this very difficult situation and I am pretty sure, she won't forgive you that easily. And neither will your son!"

Gabriel stared at her for a moment, then spat,

"Just do as you've been told, Nathalie!"

"Why, Gabriel? Why did you save 'me' two years ago instead of 'her'? You could have been happy with your family and not sulking all the time, blaming me for your misery!" she asked him, her voice hoarse.

"I honestly can't remember!" he shouted.

Seeing the woman, he had back then saved by giving up his dream to bring his wife back to him, turning around with tears in her eyes, he immediately regretted his words.

"Nathalie, please, don't go. I am sorry. I..." he inhaled deeply, before he continued. "I didn't mean it the way I said. If there is one thing, I truly regret, it's the way I've been acting towards you all the time. Maybe this, this girl, will be the solution, the cure for my anger. Just do as you said and give her a call and ask her nicely to come here. And tell Adrien to come too. I want to see, if he knew."

"F-Fine! But do me one favour and leave me alone after I did. I need some time for myself to get my head clear of all the things you throw at me every day. Alright?"

Gabriel looked as if he was about to panic.

"Nathalie, I... I promise to give you the whole week for yourself, if you stay with me for that. I can't do this on my own!" he begged.
