Sexual Tension

It was the beginning of December and for the first time since Emilie had died, Nathalie and Adrien were decorating the house with all the Christmas ornaments they could find.

Having had only the large Christmas tree in the atrium the previous two years, the almost sixteen year old was thrilled and so hyped from his emotional high that he was running up and down the stairs, from his room to the assistant's to his father, down to the dining room and Gabriel's office, then back upstairs into the living room they had barely used at all since his mother's sudden disappearance.

It had taken the grieving designer almost two years until he had been able to accept his wife's death and give eventually up his evil plan to get the miraculous' of Ladybug and ChatNoir and instead he had told his son the truth and returned the jewels to the red superheroine.

Adrien had been very angry at first, but when he had then told his father that he knew how to contact Ladybug and had returned the pin and the brooch to her, before revealing his identity to her, had found out that he had already been dating 'his lady' for several months.

That had calmed his anger instantly and Marinette had not only comforted him and listened to his fears and worries, she had also promised him that his father and Nathalie wouldn't have to face any consequences, as it was love which made them try everything to bring a loved one back.

As he ran past Nathalie for the seventh time, she called his name.

"Adrien!"

Stopping immediately, the teenager turned around and looked up into her face, wondering.

"Yes, Nathalie?"

She sighed, not capable of telling him off for being too happy, and so she told him.

"Why don't you just hurry over to Marinette, get some sweet things for all of us, she's of course invited, and on your way there, you hopefully get rid of some of your energy."

"That bad?" He asked.

"I understand why you're like this, I just need half an hour of calm and quiet, alright?" The assistant pleaded.

Adrien grinned at her sheepishly, then agreed.

"I'm sorry for stressing you. But going over to Marinette's is a wonderful idea. Is there anything special you'd like?"

"Yeah, an hour of calm and quiet. Take your time, have a nice afternoon with your girlfriend, but come back before it's dark or let your bodyguard pick you up, okay?" His former tutor and recently mother figure replied.

Adrien chuckled as he grabbed his coat and scarf.

"I'm really sorry, Nath. I'll try to not be so hyped from now on. Thank you for all the things you do!"

He hugged her tightly and despite still struggling with the strength in her legs, Nathalie closed her arms around him and held him taut.

"Take care, Adrien, I love you!"

"I love you too, Nath. See you later!"

She waved after him, before sneaking up into her bedroom and let herself fall backwards on her mattress with a deep sigh. She fell onto something hard and cried out in shock, making the something jump up and scream too.

"Gabriel!" Nathalie exclaimed. "What on earth are you doing in here?"

He shrugged and looked sheepishly to the floor.

"Hiding?" He half admitted, half questioned. "Don't give me that look. I really love that my son is so incredibly happy, but I needed a break. And you look very much as if you needed one too. So if you allow me, we could just take this break together, unnoticed and without interruption I hope. Where is Adrien, by the way?"
