Annie and Jim were sitting in the galley, Annie was reading on a chair and Jim was sitting on a stool cleaning dishes that Silver had brought him. Occasionally Jim would look up at Annie and watch in amusement as she mouthed a couple words, her face becoming multiple emotions as she continued to read. Annie would tell him what happened once in a while from the chapter she read that was her favorite part.

"Hey Annie?" Jim called out to the girl as he rested his elbow on his leg and rested his chin in the palm of his hand.

Annie hummed and looked up at Jim with a raised brow, Jim smiled at the slight annoyance but curiousness she showed to him.

"What are you doing after this voyage?"

"Well I have to report back to the academy." Annie said as she gave him a small smile as she went on. "After that it's summer break, so I'm probably going to be with Amelia and Arrow. Mr. Arrow is actually supposed to show me the planet he grew up on."

Jim couldn't help but smile at her obvious excitement as set the clean bowel to the side as he said.

"That sounds cool."

"Oh! Maybe you could come with me, I know Mr. Arrow likes you so I'm sure he won't mind." Annie suggested as she gave him one last smile before continuing to read.

Jim couldn't help but hum in agreement, he wanted to go on another adventure anyway so going to Mr. Arrows planet sounded like fun and he got to spend even more time with Annie. A few more minutes had passed and that's when the two teens heard a clicking sound, Annie looked up from her book with eyebrows raised wondering what that sound was. Jim was finishing the last pot when he heard the clicking noise as well, both teens watched as Silver hauled a huge load of dirty dishes into the kitchen. Silver grinned at Jim as he said with happiness.

"I got more dishes for you to clean Jimbo."

Silver dropped them in front of the boy and they clattered to the ground, Jim's mouth opened in shock as he stared wide eyed at the whole new pile of dishes he had to clean. Annie had to put a hand over her mouth to cover the giggle that slipped out at Jim's look. Silver chuckled as he turned away from the two teens as he said.

"I need them finished by tonight, we have a big feast planned for tomorrow."

Jim narrowed his eyes when he heard Silver say feast, he turned to glare at the cyborg which the cyborg couldn't help but laugh at as he walked away from the teenagers. Jim angrily picked up a bowel and began scrubbing at it furiously, just wanting to escape the galley and go up on deck. Annie couldn't help but giggle at Jim's determination to get this done, she smiled and looked down at her book before looking up at Jim as she questioned him.

"Do you want me to read this to you Jim?"

Jim paused his furious scrubbing and looked up at Annie and her book, raising an eyebrow curiously he couldn't help but nod his head yes. It would get his mind off of having to be stuck down here. A few hours had passed as Annie read The Voldbergs Unexpected Journey, Jim couldn't help but fall in love with all the characters on their journey to reclaim their home planet from an evil dragoniod king. They were halfway done when Delbert came down into the galley.

"Annie, I need your help with something." Delbert said as he stood in the entryway of the kitchen.

"Yes, what is it?" Annie asked as she put a bookmark down and closed the book.

"I've been studying some of your astrological maps and it seems that they're quite outdated. Would you mind helping me update them, I've heard you're very handy with a pencil." Delbert explained as he nervously rubbed his foot on his ankle.

Annie smiled widely and couldn't help but think of how adorable Delbert seemed to act, it was so different from the people she grew up around. While the people she grew up around were headstrong, brave, and loud. Delbert was shy, kind and very quiet, something she found very admirable and adorable.

"Of course Delbert." Annie said she looked down at Jim who was pouting on his stool, she couldn't help but giggle as she saw suds of soap on his cheek. "We'll finish the book when I'm done."

Annie walked over to him and leaned down giving him a small smile as she wiped the suds away with her thumb. Jim's cheeks darkened noticeably as he stares up at Annie with wide eyes, Delbert cleared his throat and looked away his own cheeks flaring.

"What was that for?" Jim choked out in shock as he watched Annie stand up taking her hand away.

"You had suds on your cheek." Annie told him as she walked away from the boy. "See you later Jim."

Jim quickly wiped his face with his shirt sleeves, making sure he had nothing on it. He looked over at Annie and Delbert to see them already walking up the stairs, Jim looked around the now quiet room and saw that Annie left her book behind. Jim promised to himself as soon as he was done with these dishes he was planning on finishing that book.

A couple more hours had passed and Jim was sleeping, resting his arm on the bowel and using it as a pillow, on the other hand he had held the book Annie was reading but it was on hologram mode. Silver walked down the stairs after hearing a voice that wasn't Jim's, curious he looked into the kitchen and found Jim sleeping on a clean bowel with a book in his hand. Silver looked around and found all his dishes clean and couldn't help but smile and rub the back of his neck with bashfulness. He was surprised that the boy could finish it all in that little amount of time.

Silver chuckled softly and took off his coat and placed it on Jim's shoulders, he gently took the book out of the boy's hand and closed it, shutting off the hologram mode. Silver placed the book on the counter and walked up that galley stairs. Jim felt something heavy being placed on his shoulders and groggily opened his eyes, he saw a familiar coat and lazily scanned the kitchen and found Silver walking up the stairs. Jim smiled softly and curled up into the coat and let out a soft sigh before going back to sleep.
