Izuku's pov

I questioned what wonders awaited at UA as Present Mic wearily brought me towards the school. I get it, the area where I live isn't the most luxurious or 'safe' but there's no need for him to have his hands in a ready position. "Do you wheel yourself to school through here every day?" He asked. I quickly typed a response and let my phone ring it out "I don't go to school, I do courses online" "Oh good" Present Mic breathed before quickening our pace to a brisk jog. I was gonna say something but I didn't want to anger the voice hero, he doesn't have the right to insult this area when he's the one who doesn't patrol this area! Don't get me wrong, I love Heroes but some of their actions make me question their motives.

Present Mic and I continued to talk a bit, he told me to call him Hizashi and that he was the one who got Eraserhead to teach at UA a few years ago. He was really interesting! His quirk manifested when he was really young and he got in quite a bit of trouble due to his lack of control. I'd have to bring out my old notebooks and update them, then maybe I could show them to Aizawa and maybe he'd show them to Nezu and I might be allowed to take a late entrance exam to General education

A whistle brought me out of my daze. I looked up to see the glistening windows of UA and Hizashi's smile "We're here listener" He stated. I nodded and let a smile creep onto my face "Took you long enough, Hizashi" Eraserhead muttered while taking my chair "Hey! I was gonna push him!" Hizashi whined "He's a kid, not a chair. You chose Izuku" Eraserhead requested. Oh crud, I don't wanna choose! "I get that face" A new but familiar voice stated. I turned to see a man in a sort of mech suit. POWERLOADER! Was he meant to be here? I heard that he rarely goes out of the support labs to do hero work

"Let's go, I wanna look at those notes of yours," He said while pushing me towards UA. He barely stopped before we crossed onto the property "Take this" Eraserhead said while placing something in my hand. It was an ID but not like the one I had received previously. This one had me listed as a "Resident Designer" whatever that meant. "thank you" I had my phone say as we went through the gate. In the school, I was led to the elevator then to the support wing.

Powerloader swiped a keycard on an employee-only door and pushed me inside. Eraserhead and Hizashi weren't too far behind. I sat in my chair awkwardly as Eraserhead, Hizashi and Powerloader didn't say anything. "Aizawa told me you have some ideas in a notebook" Powerloader stated "Yeah, it's here if you want to see them" I typed into my phone before reaching into the pocket on the back of my chair.

Powerloader took the notebook and began perusing the pages. Most of the pages were old support item concepts but Powerloader knew what he was looking for since he flicked from the first page to the last with vigour "Hmm. Aizawa grab the handle on the side of that desk, move it to a sitting height" He instructed. Aizawa raised his eyebrow at the request but followed none the less "Hizashi, grab that toolbox bring it to the desk" He added while heading towards the chemical room

"How much palladium do you need?" Powerloader asked. I was stunned silent, this couldn't be happening "50g" My phone played. The materials detailed in my notes were quickly placed in front of me along with a stack of blue paper "Go ahead" Powerloader explained simply. "Thank you" I clicked the quick button to answer as my eyes began to water. Yeah, the dead one can cry as well, it's weird but I think that it's because my lens and Iris were the things that actually received the damage from that bla... Nevermind, I was just rambling

I quickly grabbed the tools and began placing each of the important parts onto separate parts of the table before I grabbed the tungsten carbide and well since it's UA, They had a diamond-tipped cutter for a drill. I got Powerloader to hold the metal as I removed the centre of the disk. The hollowed disk was placed aside as I began working on the circuit for the generator/ionizer, it took about two hours to finish it. The finished product was placed into the tungsten shell, quickly seeled in by an arc welder. Once that was done I donned radiation gloves and needle-nose pliers. I placed the palladium pieces atop the absorbing pads on the generator and quickly got to welding three tungsten carbide radii and J-B Welded three pieces of Potash glass on it. 3 hours after starting, I had finished the reactor

I would describe the making of my lungs as well but that would be way too complex. Simply put, it functions sorta like a pill that expands within my lungs, restructuring them and replacing the damaged organelles within. By the time I had completed the apparatuses completed, it was dark out and my phone was buzzing with notifications from Ms Kea. I hadn't noticed them until I was about to swallow my lungs and my phone rang. "Who calls a person who can't talk?" Eraserhead mumbled as he picked up my phone

"Hello?" "Who is this? where is Izuku? I'll kill you if I have to!" Ms Kea's voice blared for the other side of the phone "He's currently at UA, working on a project" Eraserhead replied calmly "Why wasn't I told it would last this long? I was going to lose my heart!" She yelled "Apologies." Eraserhead took a breath "I'll drop Izuku to you soon. I would also like to schedule a meeting between us"

Just an announcement on this books' upload schedule, this is my last prepared chapter so I'll be updating whenever I finish one

Stay classy Knights
