The news didn't come to her until a week later.

Twilight's dead? Oh my god.... Misaki sat on her chair because her legs had weakened.

She looked at Damian's message carefully.

What occurred to her was he didn't say what happened..

"Hikaru." She said. "I'll be on a trip tomorrow." She forced a smile so that her brother could agree.

"Alright. But, be careful." Hikaru says. "I won't have time to go to you when you need me.. I have work."

"Alright." She says.

When she got there Damian's pets were out and guarding.

She looked nervously at them and watched as their eyes stared at her up and down like they were trying to decide whether or not she was a friend.

"Damian sent me." She squeaked as she watched it nod.

"Master is in the chamber. Take a left and you'll find the stairs." The daemon said.

She nods and walks towards the dark and gloomy castle.

She knew the castle was lively before but, now it seems that even the cheery air died with its owner.

"Damian?" She asked when she saw the long flight of stairs.

"Down here." She heard his voice.

She went down and down.

How long does this take? She thought.

When she finally reached the end she noticed three other people were there as well.

She stared at Damian confused. "Damien? Who are these people?"

"Levi." The man with blue eyes said. "Pleased to meet you."

"Phoenix Jade Fireaxa." Misaki smiles at the female who said it.

"She talked about you." She said, then her eyes fell on her best friend's body in the middle of the room. "You said she was dead."

"A lie to keep the Kingdoms from fighting for the throne, Misaki." Damien hugged her. "I missed you."

"I missed you too. But, not now Damien." She smiles weakly at him.

"I'm just going to pretend I'm not here." Death said.

Misaki laughed at the remark. "I didn't notice you."

"I can tell."

"Twilight.... She died because of her, didn't she?" Misaki asked.

Damien nods. "Unfortunately, yes."

"Has Kimi heard of the news? Or Tessie?"

"It is unknown whether or not they have gotten the letters I have sent."

"Gods.... Where is she now?"

"I do not know. Probably waiting for us to make the next move." Damien said.

"Who are you guys talking about?" Levi asked.

"The woman I said before." Damien said.

"What's her name?"

"Shana."
