Wei Wuxian yawned as he looked around. Nightless City they say but the place looks like a cemetery.

"Hngh, I'm so tired."

Wei Wuxian wasn't able to sleep since Xie Lian cried with him and Hua Cheng drowned him in butterflies. He's looking forwards to see Lan Wangji today actually. Wei Wuxian was given Feng Xin's bow upon insistence. Now he's just strolling around until he heard someone shooting nearby. He snuck up and there he was, Wen Qionglin.

"Hey! Wen Ning!"

The boy was startled, missing the target as he released the arrow.

"Y-Young Master Wei!"

"Hahaha! You're here!"

Wei Wuxian walked over and placed a hand on Wen Qionglins' shoulder.

"You're participating right?"

"I-I don't know if I'm qualified..."

"What are you talking about? Of course you are!"

Wei Wuxian grinned at Wen Qionglin.

"Wei Wuxian! Where are you?!"

Wei Wuxian turned his head and back to Wen Qionglin.

"Sorry, I've got to go. I'll see you later!"

"B-Bye..!"

Wei Wuxian waved his hand as he began walking away, now towards Jiang Wanyin who glared at him.

"Where've you been?"

"Oh I was just looking around and all."

"Come on, we have to go."

"Coming!"

Wei Wuxian chuckled as he followed behind Jiang Wanyin. The prominent sects have all gathered to join the conference and archery competition here at Qishan. Wei Wuxian was the top disciple of Yunmeng Jiang, remarked with his notable skills in archery and swordsmanship.

"Hey, Cheng."

"What do you want?"

"Why so grumpy?"

"You're late again!"

"Awee don't be mad anymore~"

Wei Wuxian wrapped his arm around Jiang Wanyin.

"I promise I wouldn't be late again."

"You want a kiss? You can kiss my foot."

Wei Wuxian chuckled but his attention was diverted when he saw a certain white cloth pass by.

"Hah! Hahahaha! Lan Zhan!"

The male turned his head around slightly, earning a look from his older brother.

"You can join Young Master Wei if you'd like, Wangji."

"Not interested."

Wei Wuxian walked over to him.

"Hey hey! Lan Zhan!"

Yet the boy didn't even bat him an eye, be it that Lan Wangji still wore his hair up using Wei Wuxians' red ribbon.

"Lan Zhan, your forehead ribbon is tilted!"

Lan Wangji jolted as he reassured that his forehead ribbon was indeed fine, now glaring at Wei Wuxian.

"Wei Ying."

"Hahaha! Just kidding!"

Lan Wangji fought the urge to roll his eyes as he began walking away.
