Carlos had left with Michelle kinda hesitant and Tk's dad picked him up since the two were going to go get coffee and then plant shopping for Owen's house
"You okay son ?" Owen said looking over at his son tk didn't respond he was just looking out the window Owen pulled over to the side of the road tapping his sons arm " Tk ?" Owen said unbuckling Owen got out his car door heading to Tk's side he opened the door "son .. can you feel me touching you ?" Owen said touching his sons arm "blink once for yes two for no." Owen said tk blinked twice " what about on this side ." Owen said tk blinked once " can you breath ?" Owen said tk didn't blink at all he became unresponsive Owen got in the car and drove to the hospital which lucky for them was one a few minutes away from where they were
Owen paced the hospital floors waiting for answers
That was until Carlos came with Michelle through the hospital doors " what happened?" Michelle said rubbing Owen's back as they all stood in the middle of the floor " I was driving and he didn't look so well so I pulled over he couldn't feel half of his body he was barely responsive and he couldn't breath ." Owen said on the verge of tears " don't cry sweetheart ." Michelle said kissing Owen's cheek
"Did they give you any updates yet ?" Carlos asked nervously " no all I know is that they put that tube back in his neck .." Owen said " family of tk strand .." the nurse called " that's us ." The three said " tk seems to have had a stroke the valve got a blood clot and cut off the blood to his brain ..." the nurse said
"But he's okay right ?" Carlos said " for the time being yes we put the tube back in to help keep the blood clear He's on blood thinners but we can't send him home for 2 days just to make sure he's in the clear ." The nurse said Carlos took a deep breath of relief " you can see him if you please ." The nurse said walking off " Carlos why don't you go see him go talk to him alright me and Owen will come and visit in the morning ." Michelle said " yeah get some rest ." Owen said patting Carlos shoulder
