Like tk said he hates hospitals when his dad had to get his surgery tk held his breath until he knew everything was gonna be okay sure the doctors reassured him that everything was gonna be okay and that Carlos was gonna be okay but tk didn't believe them not really. He tried he did but it never worked his anxiety always won in these types of battles
When the nurse came into the room tk rose from his seat " rest easy surgery went beautifully we got it all and he will make a full recovery within 4-6 weeks one of those being spent in the hospital we tucked his scar as far behind his ear as we could it's visible but it's not at risk for infection since he already had his cut in it's usual style but I will need to discuss what to expect side effects, behaviors, all that stuff " the nurse said tk let himself breathe for the first time in 4 hours
" the meds were gonna have him in will make him deleterious when he starts them and eases into them I suggest in getting a pure bucket it's very common he'll be tired and it's common that he might be fussy it's nothing personal it's just something we commonly see so don't take it to heart. He's gonna have to master the simple skills over again he knows how to do them but his brain is weaker which makes it so that he has to strengthen his understanding in those areas and prepare for his scar to be itchy but he can't scratch it we will give you cream for it ." The nurse said "got it ." Tk said
The doctors moved Carlos back into his room and got him hooked up to oxygen and a feeding tube when they left tk grabbed Carlos's hand kissing the top of it " you were right everything is gonna be just fine ." Tk smiled with tears in his eyes
