"Maa.. please at least you don't call me Anu.. mein ladki thoda na ho.." whined Anurag Maheshwari
"Accha baba..nahi bolungi. Ab bata ki tume kya chahiye." asked Rajshri controlling her laugh because of her son's whining.
" Coffee will do Maa. I'll be in the garden with Papa." saying this Anurag went to the garden through the backside door of the kitchen.
Nodding Rajshri got busy in making coffee and tea as per each ones like.
" Good morning Papa.." greeting his father he sat beside him in the chair.
" Morning beta..kaise tha tumhara morning cycling?" questioned Vishambhar smiling at his son.
" As usual good Papa..Abir ke sath hai gaye tha.." replied and took the newspaper from his father.
By then Rajshri came with their coffee and teas and enjoyed their morning talk discussing the business, national affairs and of course Anurag was interested in gossiping with his mother. His father was just hearing to their talks smilingly.
(Gossiping in the sense nothing negative or judgmental , just neighbourhood happenings..I guess its fun to talk these type of talks with our son, brother, father or friend🤭)
Then they all headed towards their own work like Vishambhar went to freshen up , Rajshri to the cook and Anurag towards room and opened the door.
When he opened the door , automatically a full blown smile appeared in his face. The room was of light shade of lavender with cute origami papers in one side of the wall. There was a small study table and a cosy balcony. He went and sat on the queen size bed where a girl is sleeping on her stomach with all her hair on her face.
Anurag moved her hair and saw her face. She was sleeping with a cute pout. He giggled silently and started to wake her up.
"Chotu.. wake up.. you'll get late for college.." said Anurag
"Let me sleep bhai.." responded the girl
"Mishtu get up this is the last warning.." he warned her strictly this time.

Yes. That's Mishti Maheswari.
She whined and tried to sleep again.
"Fine then..its already 7.45am . You'll only get late and don't blame if I eat all your khichdi.." he said smirking.
"What!!" bolted up. " How did I sleep till this time? Oh god! I don't wanna be late for today's class." saying this she ran towards her bathroom to shower.
Anurag shook his head and made his way to the door when ,
"Aur haan..I won't let you eat my khichdi bhai!" came her shout from inside her bathroom.
He left the room closing the door smiling at his sister's childishness.
Mishti too is early riser but you know sometimes get lost in her dreams to wake up.
After doing her morning business and taking shower , Mishti walked to her walk-in closet and wore a simple embroidered anarkali. She applied her moisturizer and lip balm. Wore her watch and bracelet , took her belongings and headed towards the hall to meet her family or more precisely her khichdi too.
When she entered the hall , she was pulled by a yummy aroma of food and went to the dining room.
Mishti saw her father sitting on the head chair waiting for everyone. She went from behind and hugged him across his neck and exclaimed , " Good morning Papa. "
Her father held her hand and made her come front and wished her back by kissing her forehead lovingly.
Then she sat on the right side of her father's chair. Both the father - daughter duo were chit chatting and waited for the rest of them to join. Rajshri entered the dining room and placed the hot box on the table and wished her gudiya rani and started to serve them.
" Maa bhaiya kahan hai? "
" I'm here Mishtu.." came a voice near the last step of stairs with a small smile in his lips.
"Kunal beta come fast let's have breakfast or you'll be late for the meeting."
" Haan.. good morning everyone" Kunal said while walking towards his chair next to Mishti and kissed her head and sat on his chair.
" Not fair guys.. now everyone forgot me?" pouted Anurag who went out to attend a business call.
"Bhai please stop your drama and let's have our food.. everyone are getting late..!" said Kunal with thin lined smile.
Seeing Anurag making faces at Kunal's comment , Mishti started to laugh.
"Chotu stop making fun of me!"
"Bhai me nahi it's only you who made such funny faces.. so a innocent kid like me will definitely laugh.." shrugged Mishti
Before anyone could say anything , their father interfered and , " bas bas ab chalo nashta karo sab."
With this everyone started to have the food along with the kids banters and other things.
"Beta how's the Varma project going and did you had a talk with Rajvansh Enterprises on the new ideas?" asked Vishambhar
"Papa Varma project is going smoothly and about Rajvansh Enterprises we will have a meeting in two days." answered Kunal and Anurag added , " Even they are considering to collaborate with us for this project Papa.." Vishambhar nodded.
Then the door bell rang when they were at the verge to complete their breakfast. After a minute or two , there came a girl wearing a maroon jumpsuit leaving her hair loose with a beautiful smile on her face.
" Finally , my sissy came to protect me from this two monsters." Anurag uttered dramatically earning a scoff from Kunal.
" Bhai , don't forget what your sissy did last time.." smirked Mishti eyeing her dramatic brother.
Now it was time for everyone to laugh.
Flashback : When all four of them , Anurag , Mishti , Kunal and Kuhu were playing truth or dare to pass time , Anurag gave Kunal a dare to sing a song with water in his mouth knowing that his little brother is terrible bathroom singer. Though he did it , Kunal determined to take revenge on his bhai. After their turn its Kuhu and Anurag turn so being his sissy Anurag chose dare with full confidence. Seeing this Kunal used his puppy face and manipulated her and made her give him a dare to call his friend and tell him that he is a gay and propose him.. this turned to be the most embarassing moment for Anurag as his friend reciprocated his proposal on the call making the whole family to laugh out and also video it.
After their laughing and Anurag's pouting session got over , they made their ways to work. Anurag and Kunal went to office and Mishti to her college and Kuhu stayed back to spend some time with her soon to be in laws.
