Third Person P.O.V
One and half months.
It has been one and half month since Abir's birthday. Everything was just blissful will be an understatement. Especially , one soul was too relaxed away from any stress and confrontation.
It was none other than Anurag Maheshwari.
As we all know the only stress for him was food and revealing his love to his family or to be specific Abir. But now he is tension free because ,
Flashback:
The evening party for Abir's birthday was going fine. Everyone were enjoying and engaging with all. At that time ,
" Abir?" Anurag called out who was conversing with some people.
Excusing from them , Abir moved towards Anurag and raised his eyebrows questioning him what.
Without utter a word , Anurag dragged his best friend away to room near the living room.
" Yaar kaha le jaa raha tum mujhe? Koi bada birthday gift dene wala hai kya mujhe!?" Abir excitedly asked Anurag to which he didn't respond.
Closing the door of the room , Anurag faced a puzzled Abir. Taking a deep breath , Anurag spoke ,
" Okay.. so mujhe tumse kuch baat karna tha.."
Looking at Anurag's troubled face , Abir approached him and placing his hand on his shoulder ,
" Kuch problem hai kya? Kya baat hai?" Abir asked concerned.
" Problem nahi keh sakti agar tujhe problem na ho..." Anurag mumbled under his breath but unfortunately it was audible to Abir.
" What?"
" Nahi woh..I wanted to say that..tum mera bhai hai aur Prerna teri behen jaise Chotu meri..par Chotu tumhari behen nahi..."
Anurag began rambling and looking at Abir's 'are you out of your mind' look, he stopped and letting out a deep sigh, he recited what he wanted to say directly.
" Abir, I love Prerna! Not now but since a long time I had a liking towards her which eventually turned into love. I promise to keep her happy and safe with my life."
Hearing this, Abir had a hard face which kicked more nervousness in Anurag.
" Have you confessed your love to Prerna?" in a neutral tone.
" Yes, and she reciprocates. But I swear Abir she wanted to tell and was feeling bad to hide it from you all especially from you. It was me who told her that I'll handle this and will tell you about us." Anurag exclaimed pinching his throat.
" Then, I think you handled well!" Abir uttered in the same tone and before Anurag could wrap his mind on his friend's words , he was engulfed by a tight hug.
" Congratulations..I approve you both!"
That's it. Anurag was in cloud nine and he hugged Abir back and kissed his cheek in excitement.
" Muhhmma! I love you Bhai!"
" Chee!! Me Prerna nahi yaar!" Abir whined breaking the hug wiping his cheek with the back of his hands making faces.
After calming down, they both left the room, when Anurag voiced his fear on Abir's reaction. To which Abir replied ,
" Anurag me tujhe acchi tarah janta ho! Tujhse better meri Prerna ko koi Nahi milega.." with a hint of pride on mentioning Anurag's nature.
