[Opening the scene, a shot of the village of Berk in the daytime.]
Hiccup: (V.O.) This... is Berk. The best kept secret this side of, well, anywhere. Granted, it may not look like much, but this wet heap of rock packs more than a few surprises.
Everyone was proud of Hiccup while Mildew was confused.
[On a cluster of sheep, hiding nervously between buildings as shadows of passing dragons race by. The group moves as one, receding into a shadowy alley, pushing one sheep out into the light. It's suddenly snatched and carried into the air!]
Ruffnut: Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?
Mildew: The village was raided in the middle of the day?
Astrid: No! It's Dragon Race!
Mildew: Dragon Race?
Hiccup: (V.O.) Life here is amazing, just not for the faint of heart. See, where most folks enjoy hobbies like whittling or needlepoint, we Berkians prefer a little something we like to call--
[WHOOSH, WHOOSH, WHOOSH! A wash of vibrant colors blurs by. Dragons Barrel past at a dizzying speed. Their riders swipe, kick, and roll into one another while they weave neck in neck between the houses, docks and revamped structures of Berk.]
Hiccup: (V.O.) DRAGON RACING!
Mildew: What is the meaning of this?!
Clara: Hiccup is responsible for the end of the war.
Mildew: What?! Stoick's boy! Dragons are beasts! They can't be trained!
The dragons growled at him.
Berkians: WILL YOU SHUT UP?!?!?!
Mildew then shuts up.
Fishlegs: WHOOOOOOO!
[Fishlegs, who is now 20 and even larger, rides (his dragon) who carries the sheep in her claws, until Snotlout, also 20, but every bit as juvenile, and (his Monstrous Nightmare), side-check them steal their sheep.]
Snotlout: Oh, I'm sorry, Fishlegs! Did you want that?
Fishlegs glared at Snotlout.
[Fishlegs glares at Snotlout.]
Fishlegs: No, Snotlout! That was mine!
[Snotlout falls back toward Ruffnut and Tuffnut, who lag on their Hideous Zippleback, Barf and Belch.]
Snotlout: Here ya go, babe.
Snotlout was shocked to see himself and what he's doing. Meanwhile, Ruffnut gagged.
Ruffnut: Ugh! Snotlout, I'm not your babe!
Snotlout: I don't know how I ended up with you!
Carol: Let's just say Snotlout saved her during a war between Dragon Riders and Hunter a year before this.
