The Crash

Part 9

Early in the morning Betty had woken up to Emma crawling into bed with her. Of course she just held her sister for a while, wanting to enjoy the time with her. After a while Jughead had come in and brought them downstairs. Fp was gone for most of the day since he had to work so Jughead decided to show the girls around the town since they really hadn't seen it yet. Betty sat in the wheelchair with Emma on her lap while Jughead wheeled them around. They went all the way from their home through both the Northside and Southside. But soon they got hungry and decided to get lunch at Pops. The three of them had a nice lunch together but as soon as they were done they went home and watched a movie. But then Emma got bored so Betty and Jughead ended up playing with her for a while. Then Fp came home and made dinner for all of them.

Fp- Kids, dinner is ready!

The Jughead had gotten up and picked up Betty whole while holding Emma's hand, then he placed Betty down in the chair. Emma ended up just jumping into her lap wanting to sit with her.

Betty- You okay babe?

Emma- I wanna stay here.

Betty- Okay, you can.

Emma snuggled into her arms but then turned herself so they could both eat. As soon as they were done Jughead brought Emma upstairs and got her cleaned up before tucking her in bed.

Emma- Juggie?

Jughead- Yeah?

Emma- Can you get BeeBee?

Jughead- Sure. (chuckles)

He went downstairs and saw Betty on the couch, instantly she turned her head towards him.

Betty- Is she asleep?

Jughead- No, she wants you.

Betty nodded and allowed Jughead to pick her up. He brought her upstairs to Emma's room and placed her down in the bed, Emma instantly smiled.

Emma- Hi Betty!

Betty- Hi baby girl! Can you try to go to sleep?

She nodded and crawled on top of her sister before closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep. Betty held her in her arms for a few minutes just running her fingers through her hair before Jughead walked back in and took Betty back down stairs. The two of them watched TV for a long time but as Betty got tired she leaned back into Jughead's arms.

Jughead- You tired Betts?

Betty- Mhm.

Jughead- Can I take you upstairs?

She nodded so he picked her up and brought her to her room. Instantly she collapsed in bed, she was exhausted.

Jughead- If you have any more dreams just call me or text me, okay?

She nodded and he left. She fell asleep quickly but as soon as her eyes shut the tossing and turning began.

The ambulance had arrived. One paramedic took Emma to make sure she was okay while three ran to Betty who was on the ground. They wrapped up her legs and picked her up onto the stretcher trying to get her to the hospital as fast as possible. They got her in the ambulance and she immediately saw Emma crying next to her wanting to be in her arms.

Emma- BeeBee! (sobs)

Betty- I'm right here my love.

Emma- I want you. (sobs)

Betty- Can I please hold her?

Paramedic- Miss you can't.

Betty- Can she just please lay next to me?

The paramedic nodded and helped Emma crawl up next to her sister. She laid in her arms and hugged her tightly. Then the ambulance started moving.

Betty- Wait! Stop! What about our parents and our sister? (tears)

The paramedic shook her head making Betty begin to cry. She hugged Emma as tight as she could, and didn't let her go until they got to the hospital. That's when they were torn apart.

Emma- BeeBee! (sobs)

Betty- I'll see you soon my love, I promise! (cries)

Then Betty passed out.

She jumped up and began to breathe heavily once again. She grabbed her phone and saw that it was already 4:30 AM. She quickly texted Jughead and he came to her pretty quickly. He laid down with her and hugged her tightly before she told him what the dream was about. As soon as she told him he pulled her back into his arms.

Jughead- How are you feeling about it?

Betty- This one wasn't bad but I'm scared for when I see more...and fully remember it. I don't want to remember it. (cries)

Jughead- I know, hopefully you won't have to.

She nodded and continued to lean in his arms for a while. But soon she had fallen asleep in his arms so he started with her for a few minutes before giving her a kiss on the head and going back to his room so he could sleep.
