Been working on my girlfriend is a werewolf and now I'm finally getting this chapter written

Luz is reading her Azura book to King.

Eda covering her ears. Ugh! Please stop! That flowery language give witches a bad name!

Well I think it's adorable. Oswald smiles.

Eda: Yeah, well, you're a person with an insane amount of romance novels hidden throughout the place. It's not really surprising that you like that mushy junk.

Dad you have romance novels?

Well are strictly for adults, some are poly romances yes. (To Eda) Besides, I think you're being a little harsh. Sure, you don't like the books, but Luz isn't harming anyone by reading them.

how about driving away customers? Eda explained.

Eda, (Luz Gestures to the empty market) what customers? There aren't even any stands around.

This is odd. Oswald adds.

Suddenly gus and Willow show up.

Willow: Luz! Something incredible is happening today.

Come can we go!? Luz begs eda and Oswald.

Sorry, Luz. But you'll find that Coven's aren't the cup of tea that they seem. Sure, I was willing to join one in the past , but after being with Eda, I learned just how freeing it is to not get tied down by one.

I agree with him. I never joined a coven, and I turned out just fine.

Willow nervously adds. Maybe this informative event will inspire you to join a coven.

Eda replies. Let's just get this over with.

Luz amazes with the scenery. "Whoa. It's just like a anime convention!"

Gus adds. Those are the main nine covens, but there are hundreds of other ones you can join.

Luz looking at the signs. Ooh, what's that?

Willow: That's the Construction Coven. One of the main nine. They use power glyphs to increase their strength.

"One of the best coven ever" gus saids exitedly.

Luz gasps. "Wow! Acceptance? Comradery? A sense of belonging? Covens sound incredible! M— I mean Eda, why haven't you ever joined one?

Eda shakes her head. "Watch closely, Luz. When you join a coven, all your other magic is sealed away. From now on, that kid will only be able to make illusions. Since I never joined a coven, I can do every kind of magic."
That's why I'm the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles!

Joining a coven may sound fun, but it restricts who you are, basically putting a chokehold over your own life. Oswald adds.

Meanwhile King is accepting gifts from people. "Are you bestowing gifts upon me? Yes! I accept your offering! The King of Demons is back!"

luz pets king while her eyes sparkle. That panel looks popular.

Gus gasps. It's the Emperor's Coven! Do you think they'll sign my forehead?

Willow replies. Only one way to find out!
Luz asked. "Aren't you coming, Eda?"

Eda shakes her head. "No way. Of all the covens, they're the worst. Innocent people have gotten themselves killed. I'll wait out here."
