It was done. The Emperor had completely rebuilt the portal. He had an Abomaton inject a green substance into the door lock before using a pieced together key to open it. However, the key is instantly vaporized. Another failure. A pounding sound distracted him from the door and turned to look at the silver guard. He was busy punching nails into the wall again out of frustration.

Nearby, Hunter observed the test when his cardinal palisman flew by and chirped silently. "Shoo!"

"Would you like to see how it works, Hunter?"

Hunter quickly hid the palisman into his cloak. "I didn't mean to hide, Emperor Belos."

The Emperor turned to face his nephew. Without his mask, he looked like an old witch with long graying blonde hair, blue eyes and a long green scar going diagonally across his face. "We found every piece of the door. But without the power of the real key, it refuses to open. And according to Henry, with the power of the real key it will remain open indefinitely."

Hunter winced before asking the Emperor, "Is it true that rain doesn't boil in the human realm?"

"It is. You know, I've been there before. Did I ever tell you that?" Hunter shook his head. "The trees there are green, the nights are quiet... I look forward to seeing it again. Were you spying on me just to hear these boring stories?"

Hunter frowned. "The operation at the Knee, why did you switch me out with Kikimora?"

"Everyone has a use, Hunter. Kikimora has her intricate little plans, the scouts carry out orders, and you... well, the Titan has big plans for you, and it would such a hassle to find a replacement. So, right now, you can be useful by staying safe in the castle."

Hunter nearly gagged before saying to his uncle, "If this is punishment for failing my last mission, I swear I can do better!"

The Emperor escorted him out of the room before closing the door but not before saying, "Good night, Hunter." Then he turned to face Henry. "I do hope you're doing a good job of keeping an eye on him."

Henry glares at belos as he took a glance at one of the books that was sitting on it. It was open and its pages described the contents for something called a Grimwalker.

The Emperor slapped his hand down on it. "That is none of your business. we are at an agreement remember?."

Amity walked down a hall of the Owl House, holding a clipboard. "Hooty, what's your status?"

Hooty smashed his face through a window and said, "The perimeter's secured. Nothing's getting past me!"

"Good. Clean up that mess."

"Yes, ma'am!" Hooty used his beak to sweep up the broken glass.

Amity walked into the kitchen to find Willow putting a bag of groceries on the bar. "Willow, have you gathered the supplies?"

She gave her a salute. "Yes, we are ready to attack this on all fronts." Willow's palisman Clover saluted.

"Excellent!" A white cat suddenly jumped through the window and placed a dead bug at Amity's feet. "Aw, Ghost, did you help too?" She knelt down to rub the cat's belly. "Who's a good palisman? Great, now all we need is-"

Gus and King entered the room, carrying speakers, CDs and a CD player. "Rain, beach waves..." said Gus.

"Something called Lo-fi beats to study and relax to," said King. "We've got it all!"
