George POV

A few months have gone by after Dream's rut. We settled in nicely at our lovely home back in no man's territory. Dream and I would usually go out to see Bad and Skeppy, the two being always welcoming whenever we went for a visit.

I ventured out on my own into the woods, searching for some herbs I could use for food and some for as I remembered that it was almost time for my heat.

Luckily Dream let me off the hook this time, he was too busy shearing off some sheep that had their wool all fully growned. Reminding me to be safe before I walked out of the den.

Surpressant herbs are very useful for us she wolves and omegas when it comes to heat, especially when you live on a bigger pack. It prevents unwanted pregnancy and our pheromones wouldn't affect other males and alphas too much.

Dream really didn't mind me finding some for myself. He wanted me to feel comfortable in anyway that I can. And he was alright with me using surpressants, even though deep down I knew he wanted to expand our family.

I wasn't shifted into my wolf as I wanted to explore the oak forest on two legs, feeling the need to be able to touch each time I stumble upon a new type of plant that I haven't seen before.

I know it's probably dangerous to do that, and I would advice not to touch anything randomly, especially if the plant is poisonous. But with the help of my good sense of smell due to my werewolf ability, I could just smell the plant before touching it.

My mother always told me when we go off to find herbs that whenever you smell something uncertain about the plant, it would usually be poisonous, so best not to touch it and leave it alone.

Those herbs I'm looking for aren't really common in these areas, but Bad did told me he's seen some before and that he's also seen a few other good herbs for recipes in cooking.

Of course, the omega always taught me something new everytime I visit. He's like a teacher to me, giving me informations on things that my mother probably didn't know of, or could be that she never let me learn them because of her over protectiveness.

I came across something Bad would be delighted to eat. It was a bunch of blueberry bushes all gathered around a small area. He used to always told me what they smelled like and what they looked like. Taking a fruit from the bush as I took a it all in, and it tasted somewhat sour and a bit sweet.

I went ahead and got a few of the darker once as they taste somewhat sweet, hoping Dream would like them. Thanks to Bad's skills of showing me how to weave some baskets, I'm now able to carry smaller things without it falling off everywhere.

I was able to fill half of the basket as I proceeded to roam around the forest in search for certain herbs. So far I've found some heat surpressants and this plant Bad told me that is called pepper, where I got a few of it's black seeds.

I stumbled upon a mother boar and a bunch of her babies roaming around with her. I watched as they sniffed around the place, not being able to sense me as they continued eating the grasses surrounding them. It was a very cute scene even though in the food chain they were my prey.

I couldn't help but imagine myself in the future like that mother boar but with my pups strolling around the forest on their first hunt training. Remembering my mother who used to let me join watching my dad and Wilbur hunt.

It was good times, when me and my family were living in peace in our little pack, back at the woodlands. I decided to sat down under one of the oak trees, feeling the need to rest for a bit.

I wondered how my family is doing. What they are up to now. I couldn't help but let a tear escape my eye.  Whispering to myself sighing as I remembered how much I miss them.

I watched the family boar as they slowly went out of my sight. Leaving me now all alone, as I looked up the skies, seeing that it was almost noon and is time for me to descended back to where Dream is.

I stood up, reaching for the basket, making sure the items inside are alright as I slowly started walking back to the den.

I was walking at a steady pace, almost half way there as I felt a sudden chill run up my spine. The wind started blowing really hard, indicating that it would probably rain soon. I was able to tell because of what Dream taught me about the differences in each places.

A rain, which I haven't really encountered before due to living on a more snowy place. It made me somewhat excited as falling free water from the skies would burst at any moment. I hurriedly went to the direction of my home, making sure to hold the basket on both hands as I placed it on my chest.

My trance stopped as I felt something was off as I ran. Suddenly feeling very uneasy as I sensed another presence behind me. My body froze, knowing it was another wolf standing behind me. How was I not able to smell him? I thought to mysel, as could hear a bit of bone cracking as the wolf shifted into his human form, not looking behind as I was terrified to who it may be.

"George?" He said, as the shock engulfed my senses at the familiar voice.

"Is that you?" He asked, uncertainty in his voice.

Relieved and at the same time surprised met my facial expression, turning around at the person I'd least expect to see but was glad to do so.

"Wilbur?"
