Normal Life

The rest of the day you spent close to Bucky's side as more intel on Markus came in from agents. You stared at the screen. The picture in front of you was grainy and hard to make out specific features. .

"Is it him?" Bucky asked wrapping his arms around you. You hadn't realized you had started to shiver.

You bit your lower lip and squinted your eyes. "It's hard to tell with this picture. It could be." You turned around your eyes level with his chest. "I'm sorry I can't be more helpful."

He tilted your chin up. "You are being helpful," he smiled at you. Placing a gentle kiss on your lips. "This will all be over soon doll."

You placed your head on his chest letting the sound of his heart calm you.

Your eyes looked up as Loki walked through the door with Thor quickly behind him. "We found something," he said pointedly.

"We've located Sylvie on a planet called Lamentis it's on the outskirts of Kree territory," Thor added. "We're leaving in a few minutes. I'll try and bring him back in one piece Mistress," he added.

"You better," you replied smiling.

"I need to find Anya," Thor said.

"She's in the kitchen with Nat," you recalled seeing her last.  Thor bowed away and out the door.

You left Bucky's embrace and held your hands out to Loki.

"Please don't do anything crazy," you begged interlacing his fingers with yours.

He smirked and cocked his head to the side. A piece of his dark hair slide across his cheek. "Who would I be if I didn't do something crazy?" He retorted.  "Don't worry about me love. I have always found a way to survive. Just like you," he added before looking over at Bucky. "I think I'm leaving you in good hands."

Bucky smiled back at him. "I'll make sure she's here when you get back."

Loki looked back at you with a dark lingering in his eye. "Don't say goodbye," you say before he could.

"Never goodbye, love," he replied. "I'll be home soon," he leaned in. "May I kiss you Mistress?"

You brushed your lips gently against his. "Yes," you whispered as he pressed against you.

The fear in your chest rose and fell against his lips.

"Oh my bad," Steve said entering the room, his face turning pink. "Umm, your jet is ready. Thor's already boarding."

Loki released you slowly and slipped his fingers from yours. He followed Steve out without another word. You heard him mumble something about being Captain Vanilla, a joke he must have heard from Natasha.

 Bucky came up behind you again and wrapped his arms around you. "He'll be fine (y/n)," he said in your ear. You nodded trying to agree but unable to say the words.

You turned in his arms wrapping your arms around his neck as you shook your head. Bucky gave a puzzled look.

"What?" He asked his fingertips running along your sides.

"Will I ever have a normal life?" You chided. "It seems I can't even fall for a normal man, they have to be a God or an irresistible supersoldier or a psychopath," you chuckled.

"Face it, doll," he said pressing his forehead on yours. "You are a chaos queen," he joked. "And a normal man would not be able to satisfy you, never could." You laughed cause what else could you do?

His bright eyes held yours as a devious smile crept across his face. "You better take a nap," he murmured in your ear starting to walk you backwards. "I plan on keeping you up tonight," he said in a low husky voice. 

Your chest thumped as his fingertips grazed across your stomach as your back slowly hit the wall. His large chest pushed against yours, closing the gap between you. Your fingertips grazed up his arms and stopped on his shoulders. "What exactly do you have planned Sargeant Barnes?" you whispered back watching his pupils dilate.

His hand wrapped around your arms pressing them back into the wall. He slowly snaked his hands up, interlacing his fingers with yours, holding them firmly above your head as he leaned in and murmured, "I plan on making sure that everyone in this compound knows who you belong to."

His husky voice sent a shiver down your spine and you squeezed your thighs instinctively. 

"How do you plan on doing that?" You asked shakily as he squeezed your hands harder. He darted his tongue across your lip. "By making sure they all hear you scream."
